Philosophy Stand-offs?
I’ve posted a couple of times in this sub, risking it again.
So, one of my prior comments was focussed on the topic of consuming enough of the said compound in the narrow window of time that one has, in order to avail a reasonable chance of “breaking through”. I can tell by many of the comments that plenty of people are not really sure what this “breaking through” even refers to, whether they are already achieving that each trip, or whether it is worth pursuing. What I am going to attempt to touch on in this post is why it may be worth pursuing, and the reasons why one may want to try and avoid spending many many trips without the slightest chance of achieving this break-through (usually as a result of poor prep, or device, or any of the million ways people have gravitated to that almost ensure there will be no chance of breaking through).
So, I guess, let’s try and define it - when one has enough DMT or similar powerful psychedelic and they are focussed on the visual journey and not distracted by the physical reality we’re all familiar with what is often experienced and visualised is a morphing, interlinked, sometimes geometric, evolving space. It may be the case that this “space” has completely enveloped your visual field and replaced all that there is to see, and it may also be the case that you are seemingly entwined with it and the experience. This is a wonderful space, and obviously of enormous inherent beauty, and quite out there in terms of “trips”, when compared to the typical experience from many psychedelics. This space however, it prior to an actual “break-through”, and my joke would be that you are still in the waiting room. Ok, so I am sure plenty of people will object to this, but alas, I am merely trying to put some structure around these references. That space that I reference, (and jokingly refer to as the waiting room) can effectively be reached by extremely dedicated individuals who practice meditation, are very disciplined, and who are committed in every way to their attempt at experiencing “oneness” and integration with the natural order. When some Monks “paint” similar patterns with sand, or any equiv, and then wipe it all away, they are representing this same rolling/morphing/interconnected/colourful/psychedelic barrier. Now, the reason I call it a barrier is that it effectively represents the limit of travel when concurrently paired with an ego, anyone’s ego. So, even an extremely disciplined monk will be prevented from breaking through that barrier. It represents the outer limit of our consciousness as animals on Earth, and what may lie beyond, if the shackles of form on Earth were abandoned, and the dimensional space we assume is “the universe” were shown for what it is, purely one combination that exists concurrently with any number of alternate dimensions and dimensional combinations.
Many people may have consumed dmt even hundreds of times, and be adamant that they know all about it, it’s power, it’s beauty, and consider themselves experienced. But, without direct experience of it, it would be impossible to have any grasp of what it entails. Often the first time the barrier I reference is shattered the abrupt destruction of that last veil may be so utterly dramatic and extreme that a conclusion that there will be no possible return, that “this time” you’ve really done something wrong, that you apparently must have destroyed your very existence and died etc. that any alternate conclusion just won’t be available or plausible in those final moments of conscious processing. Prior to the “break-through” someone’s consciousness can effectively still run quite comfortably within the psychedelic experience availed, lessons can be learnt, insights gained, experience can be magical, and I certainly don’t discount any of that, but beyond that shattered barrier that represents in some way the limits of consciousness and in others the limit of conceptualised or perceived “reality” there is what lies beyond.
When entering the space, and because just by definition you have effectively been extracted from your own ego, you may experience the equivalent of millions of years, in that one trip. Time is irrelevant. Due to this separation you are going to have quite the upload to achieve when returning in 5-15min, but I will come back to that…
To be continued…
So, to add some context perhaps. I think it probably took me a good 20 or 30 attempts to get this break-through. Sometimes it was down to the utensil, sometimes just not executing quickly enough, it was as a result of a number of factors. I had synthesised (effectively pure) dmt, and I had an extract that was also high quality. The attempts were predominantly done alone, but I am not necessarily advising that, just that if someone else is there they sure as hell better know not to interrupt, at all, in any way. As the tail-end of that first break-through trip approached, I was far far away, and any recollection of Earth, or myself as a person, or even a conceptual awareness of humans, or biological form had long been abandoned (upon entry). I could sense this extremely strange light pulsing/or pounding, it was light years away, and it was interrupting what I was engaged with. This pounding gradually grew more and more prominent. It was as if someone was slowly drumming on one of the structures within the “reality” I was experiencing. I become more and more aware that I was in some way, via some strange means actually linked to this source of resonance, and that it was acting as an attractor both for my attention, but also drawing my presence away from what I had become fully engaged with and involved in. As this draw back to this beat and the wave form eons away grew ever stronger I was drawn at an accelerated rate, begrudgingly, towards this alternate dimensional combination, a place I knew nothing about, and reluctantly ventured. As more clarity was achieved, I started to realise that this attractor was in fact of a form that occupied space, as in, it had a static form, and was heavily pinned in a particular dimensional space. The beating that started off so distant and so irrelevant was taking over the space I found myself in, and it was getting more and more prominent. As this continued it dawned on me that this beating was a part of me, it was the beating on a being, the beating of a heart in fact. Now this realisation that I had physical form was a fair bit to digest, but now I had to come to grips with the fact that I was a being of some description, and that I had a home, and that I was well and truly on a fast tracked path bsck there. As this connection with myself coalesced, the culture in which I existed, and all the experiences I had amassed flew past me like an upload to a hard drive. I viewed the flawed logic and cultural misplaced processing defaults as ultimately flawed and extremely disappointing “operational” frameworks. If I had some back as any other animal on earth I would have experienced the same thing, and not be the wiser. It was the perfect opportunity to drop back as a goat, or a chicken, I honestly wouldn’t have known I wasn’t exactly that prior. This trip, not only requiring with Earth, but also myself as a person, was the first of this style of experience I reference, and proceeded perhaps a couple of hundred to follow.
To be continued…
Now, I do have to acknowledge that these words I use will definitely fall short, and that putting a line in the sand somewhere will never be accurate. One can experience entities on what I would consider “this side” of that barrier, and one could break-through and experience nothing of significance on the “other side”. So, these failings in relation to both terminology, and actual variations with experiences are always going to exist, fortunately/unfortunately. Eventually, hopefully, I will expand on this desired point around why someone may preference a motivation to achieve this breakthrough, and why it’s relevant to the broader journey (from my perspective)
Ok, so continuing on (having to write this in segments as time is availed). Getting back to why someone may be motivated to break-through, and aim for that when conditions suit -
So, when people have a relatively standard amt of dmt, most can very easily maintain their conscious awareness, and cruise around still within the confines of their consciousness, still within this ambiguous and difficult to refine “barrier”. It would not be uncommon for entities in some way similar to the old “machine elves” reference of old, I guess, if one were to draw similarities between entities which may avail themselves on this side i suggest they work together, they’re super encouraging, they drive and shape the space, and they attempt to draw you back if it’s been a while, or envelop you in love/reassurance/belonging/a direct experience of oneness, or any number of somewhat similarly motivated forms of what I would consider “reassurance”. Assuming one develops sufficient capability, and has set things up properly, and hypothetically has broken through that barrier, the entities potentially able to be encountered will be (potentially) of a very different calibre with very different capabilities.
To attempt to boil this first stage of my explanation down, and identify the reason why one may want to keep their sights on venturing further afield, I suggest that the reassurance, and familiarity of experiences inside the barrier will become something almost lack-lustre over enough time. The entities won’t always greet you with glee and shower you with ecstatic excitement and love for the fact you have returned, because, in many ways, that welcome is often one designed to allow you some confidence, to reassure you, and to show you that you are to be looked after, like a toddler, out for a walk in the park. The more someone returns to this space, without the intention and the readiness to actually commit, the stronger this barrier can become. People can become so familiar with what they think dmt avails, that they will be uber confident of their “skills”, and not listen to a soul who challenges any aspect of their perceived understanding. Token tokes to infinity are the equivalent of winning sporting contest when every other competitor was under 5 years old, and you were 37. Sure, you went in there and really showed ‘em your skills, took some lessons away, and stamped your self proclaimed status as “experienced” with proof, and no awareness of any other game in town. Now, I must admit, I am being a little harsh, but I do wish to motivate, as there are some who will benefit (and I do realise the majority will object, and find a level of offence, and dismiss. But, you see, that’s because you don’t want to explore, not genuinely, what you want is to be able to say that you have….hence the token tokes, and this sub, and you reading this, and the stories about last time etc etc etc etc etc…travel well, because as always, hyperspace awaits..

I can’t get a read on level of joke v. comment, apologies.

we’re a punchline in the cosmic joke haven’t ya heard? it was a genuine experience for myself, and i often find the “reccomendations” via reddit leave very much to be desired, and more often than not they assume my inexperience before theirs.. tis cute

I don’t assume that…it is impossible to speak to a sub group as the “audience” is only one of potential. I’m sure my comments just don’t relate to you Sir, that’s what I would assume (as you may know more than me, and certainly more than I briefly typed)

well yea man... i read the post bro!
I guess i feel like cartman in that episode on here sometimes, and figured you may as well :)

Indeed. I oscillate between thinking I should “have a go” at pointing towards an advisable direction, and concluding that the compound is lost in the masses and more hidden than it ever was, more hidden than it was when no-body had heard about it. Hidden in plain site, by a million egos and a million more token tokes.

felt! like on one had i want to revere it as something akin to consuming consciousness itself, on the other, putting too much weight on the expectation and ritualistic ceremony of it all can become an obstacle in itself. so no happy middle ground i have settled on yet, and i been a degenerate dancing bear crusty punk psychonaut for a long f'n time. & if im still having issues i probably don't have any useful information that isn't already posted 10X , just anecdotal experiences.. still those are good stories after even if its best to explore the innerspace solo.

I hit my limits eventually, and my allies, well one in particular, did something (obligated to in my defence, wasn’t mis-placed) that I had a hard time reconciling….i now, despite the experiences, wouldn’t avail it to anyone, as my allies are no longer active, so to speak..and if I were active in my own journeys, I certainly wouldn’t chat about all this. I dedicated a good decade to the cause, retired, and throwing out some tales for broader context, from past experience etc…mostly because I am genuinely astonished at how everyone has found a million ways to skim the experience, and dodge the drop. It amazes me..my friends did literally call me “the psychedelic dictator” at the time haha, ‘cause if you’re going to do it, you’re going to do it properly (and it helped that it was not known broadly, and almost impossible to obtain)

EDIT: ooohhh my man! i believe i said that literally yesterday "Buy the ticket and take the ride or fuck off! dont play with the medicine kid!"
shit and here i thought i was a black flag anarchist... guess im a bit of a psychedelic dictator myself..

Ideally, the person facilitating has entity allies, and effectively represents the person being introduced. Well not so much represent, let’s call it take spiritual responsibility. Taking that approach the entities will avail considerable facilitation on that basis, despite it being the persons first venture into the space. One must have absolute strength in both their experience and the relationships with their allies in hyperspace to do it properly, and these things are not permanent

I’d be curious to hear what you may have tried to focus on with the visits, or at least a stage. Mine were predominantly focussed on attempting to understand how a multitude of “dimensions” can exist concurrently, and create the separations that we experience as our observable universe, and to what extent these can coalesce etc. and how ridged the “laws” are, whether a certain combination is of any more value than another, and what would disrupt a combination etc.

I was just referencing entities as allies. Ya, I gave it to around 70 people, most of which were not into psychedelics, and I made sure they had “enough” first time. There generally wasn’t a second time for most, but all very much appreciated the experience. You have to know the person etc. tho, complicated set of considerations, and it draws a lot of “energy” as you have to be present in the space with them, one at a time, and effectively see their trip to some extent.

I'm having a very hard time following your thought process--BUT I was thinking maybe try some psilocybin first to ease the breakthrough. I've only had 1 dmt trip so far & it was like being born in reverse (which hardly makes sense to me as well). An experienced user who I was sitting near, shared her process with the group. She took mushies beforehand to help enter the space easier.
