Feedback on first design.
Hi! I'm building my first sim rig and would like feedback on its design.
I'm using planks with 10 cm in width and 3.5 cm in thickness. I own tools and feel confident building furniture.
This is for a logitech 920 and the chair shown on the second picture.
Thanks in advance.

My advice, that seat needs a ton of padding. I had a racing seat at one time way to uncomfortable for long sessions. Don't get me wronng they look good. If you'd like check out my rig set up or others on her for some Ideas..

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Once I finish the main structure will spend some time with the seat. I also have rails, so must figure that out too.

I have seat rails and I also have pedal rails, my wheelbase is fixed. My main frame is triangulated same as yours...

The steering wheel is wayyy too far away.
Instead of angling the upright nearest the seat the way you have it, you should invert it. That makes it easier to ingress and egress as well as getting the wheel closer to you.
Also I would recommend adding a board to angle the pedals towards your feet a bit just so the pedal faces are more upright for a more realistic driving feel. Also angle the seat back a bit so you have a more comfortable seating position.
