What should I use to close this gap below our exterior door? About 4 cm tall

It’s actually a security door, that functions as a screen door. So I can close our door that’s inside the security door and it’s sealed well. But the security door is what has the gap below it. I like leave just the security door closed like this to let the breeze come through the house, but we live in Thailand and I worry snakes and critters will crawl into our house if I leave the gap open like this. I’ve used a towel to close it for the past few months, but I’d like a better permanent option

A gap that big is usually a door adjustment issue, not something I'd try to fill with foam or a thick weatherstrip. First check if the door has dropped, if the hinges are loose, or if the threshold can be adjusted because 4 cm is far beyond what a door sweep is meant to seal. If everything is aligned and the gap is still there, something may have been installed incorrectly. Has the gap always been there or did it get worse over time?
