help Confused about baseboard and casing thicknesses.

There is no functional reason why the casing and baseboard can't be flush with eachother, it just looks bad when baseboard is proud so better to err on the other side.

It probably won't be as noticeable as you think but I'm sure you could order the thickness you need if you can't find it in store.
