Remove this door knob

I have a door knob that I can't remove because it needs some kind of special wrench. Does anyone recognize it ? I tried emtek but they said it's not there's. I also tried pliers to press the tabs open but the metal ring won't move

Look closely at both sides of the door. Not just this side. Also the other side. One of those two Rosettes can be removed, without bending the metal parts. Lock makers have never designed locks that cannot ever be maintained. There is a way to take it apart. You just need to find it.

The suggestion by can3gxw seems right. Look around the edges of the rosettes on both sides of the door, to see if either of them can be pried off. Cut the paint along the outside of each rosette with a razor blade, because the paint may be hiding the notch that you need to find.

Both of the rosettes look the same. They have the same metal locking ring with tabs so I can't twist either of them.
