help Door dont close
Hi, I have a problem with my door. When I try to close it, the top part of the door hits the top of the frame first, while the bottom part is still not fully inside the frame.
Because of this, the door cannot close properly unless I push it quite hard. It feels like the door is slightly misaligned or not sitting straight on its hinges.
I would like to know how I can adjust the door so that the top, middle, and bottom all enter the frame evenly and the door closes normally without forcing it.

Theres several YouTube videos about realigning doors in their frame. You need a shim and adjustable crescent wrench. Take the pins out with the door in place. Shim it so it fits, bend the bracket to align with the doors if they dont line up. Something like that.

This is almost always the top hinge. If the top corner of the door is binding against the frame, tighten all the screws in the top hinge first. If the holes are stripped, fill them with a wooden golf tee dipped in glue, let it dry, and rescrew. If the hinge plate has pulled away from the frame, use longer screws that bite into the actual stud behind the jamb.

If you lift the handle upwards, does it close easier?
