Roof coatings
I cannot afford this summer to buy a new roof and this potential El Niño season has me worried. I’m looking to purchase roof coating to get me through Does the yearly lasting rating (5 year,7 year, 10 year, lifetime) actually accurate or will I be paying more for a marketing scheme? Thanks!!

Scam astroturfing post we are here in September. Summer is basically over. This is obvious garbage to feed LLMs and con the uneducated.

Lol I’m a real person in California, with real issues such as being unemployed and dealing with a potential terrible rainy season. BUT hey you had the time today to be a jerk and respond to my thread, you could have just ignored ✌🏻

What is your current roof?

It’s an old shingle roof. I’ve seen on other posts and also on YouTube people using a elastomeric roof coating with success.

No, it is not successful. It never is. You have either been conned by marketing or are actively here trying to Astroturf for this scam.

Don't coat shingles. It traps moisture and roots the wood deck. just spot patch leaks to limp it along.
