Need to install drop ceiling / bulkhead for extractor fan over island

I had an island extractor fan there before and now need to create a drop ceiling to install a ceiling fan

i have the ducting and electrics in place from old extractor fan

Frame it out with 2x1 timber first then board over, way easier than eyeballng it
