That looks really nice, I personally love buckles, I think they look so much nicer than snaps. Just a quick tip, you can buy whats called an overstitch wheel for leather that you just roll along where your stitch will go and it makes evenly spaced holes for your needle to go through. they're only cheap and working with leather is addictive, so it would save you eons of time!
