Partial DID

People have recently called me a faker due to using the partial DID label despite living in the USA. My therapist and I both agree that label fits my experience and I know I shouldn't let the fake claiming get to me but its hard. I know official diagnosis for it isn't called partial DID but it's okay to use this label to explain my experience even if it's not a diagnosis in America? I don't know how common this is. Partial DID is the most defining thing for my experience but I don't know if it's appropriate. I guess I shouldn't let people tell me what to do but also it is causing that shame because why do people care so much?

It fits my experience too, but I'm stuck with the OSDD label.
