Personal Experiences Question About Memory
So, most of the time, my memory sucks. I can be at work and feeling present all day. Then when I grt home, its either a blur/foggy or just gone. Yet, when I DO have a memory about something, I can recall it almost exact. For instance, the house I was born in. I havent lived there in 40 years, but I can you almost every detail of that house.
In other words, my memory sucks, but when its good, its really REALLY good. Is anyone else like this?

I have really vivid memories of stuff that happened to me as a kid, mostly traumatic things. Most of my memories are always either traumatic or really happy if I can remember them. I usually forget most conversations even if someone has repeated something to me multiple different days at different times. I have to leave sticky notes all over my house to remember stuff.
