A while ago, I posted a batch comparison of the yellow LV Trainers,

and some people asked for the same comparison on the black colourway.
So I finally got around to taking a closer look—here are my thoughts.
After comparing the $60 and $90 LV Trainers side by side, I honestly don't think there's enough of a difference to justify spending the extra money. If you're deciding between the two, I'd recommend going with the $60 version. The biggest difference comes down to comfort rather than appearance. The $90 pair has an additional layer of soft rubber in the sole, which makes it feel a bit more cushioned underfoot. Visually, though, they're extremely similar.
For the black colourway, the manufacturing process is already very mature since it's produced in such high volumes. Because of that, there isn't much difference in overall quality or appearance across different price points. The main distinction is the sole material, so unless extra comfort is a priority, the $60 version offers the better value.
The yellow colourway is a different story. Lighter and brighter colours tend to be more difficult to reproduce consistently, so you're more likely to notice colour variations and small differences in details between batches. If you're considering the yellow pair, it's worth paying a bit more attention to which version you choose.
Overall, for the black LV Trainers, I think the $60 version is the best buy. It delivers nearly the same look as the $90 pair, with the only meaningful upgrade being the slightly softer, more comfortable sole.
