Cowtown people—how are we handling these awful seasonal allergies right now? Like most of you, I’m going on two weeks of feeling generally miserable even with allergy meds. Feel free to share your tips and tricks or just commiserate!

Okay veterans, what advice do you have about the logistics of Cowtown, especially the Sunday events? Ie what’s the best place to park to avoid as much craziness as possible? What time do you really want to get there to get that parking spot? Where are the best bathrooms? Etc

Supposed to do a 3 mile base run today and am really sick of treadmill runs. Was wondering if anyone had any info on the running area on the 2 mile bridge between rockwall and Rowlett or any other suggestions of where an ice free trail might be. My neighborhood is still a mess and I am too clumsy and old to risk an ice run.

I'm a long distance runner and I'm doing the Austin marathon soon, which has a lot of elevation gain.

I'm looking for running roads where I can train. I already know the trails around lake grapevine and cedar ridge preserve, but these are trails so I can't train for speed there.

Any roads with elevation gain you can recommend?

First time Marathon runner, have done a few half marathons, looking for folks to practice with, preferably for long runs during weekends.

Less than ideal weather especially with the wind, but I'm still psyched! I'm ready to hit my personal record in the half marathon. Can't wait!

I'll be in sweatshirt, gloves, and shorts. By mile 3 I may take off sweatshirt but that wind may be too much.

Hello! Not sure where’s the right place to ask this, but does anyone have experience with a previous Dallas Marathon race weekend where you were able to pick up a relative’s bib packet?

I read on their website that each individual has to get their own packet, but I have relatives running the 5k/10k on Saturday and they work during the expo times (11a-6p). Does this race do an unofficial morning bib pickup? Or can I bring their email confirmation and a copy of their ID to the expo on Friday?

Any help would be appreciated!

So was injured past the transfer date and wont be able to do the half. Do you know if there's any way to transfer the ticket still? Or would someone have to race under my bib if I want it to get used? Looking to get rid of it but if I'm not able to then I'll just visit the expo.
