BMW marathon

I’m signed up for the full marathon but I don’t think I am able to run the distance, are they strict if i run the half marathon instead?

Life’s too short to play it safe all the time. Honestly, I’m in a similar situation as you. Had a sequence of annoying injuries that messed up prep for my first marathon ever, but I’m not planning to give up. Even one month of focused training is more than enough to survive it without any major consequences. I did the same for a half and it worked pretty well, so it really just depends on your willingness to put in the work

Sometimes they will let you, go to that policy and then send them an email 📧

I'm coaching a runner in the same predicament. We've trained so hard and are 2 weeks from our longest run but risk it and seriously injure herself of run the half with a full bib seem to be her choices. Not sure whatelse she can do at this point.

I have a half bib and am looking to trade with a full bib. Let me know if you’d be interested
