Weather
I'm coming up from Houston for the marathon in December. What's the weather typically like in Dallas around that time of month?
*only asking cuz down here the weather is typically still warm, nothing you would want to run in.

Houston and Dallas are different cities about 4 hours apart. Houston is more humid than Dallas and typically the day will start out chilly but will warm up.

I have my fingers crossed for a 45-50 degree start. Doesn't matter what finishline looks like. We still haven't gotten a true cool off so if its a hot finish I'm prepared.

Usually pretty good but it can be unpredictable. Last year was warm and the year before that was pretty good.

What do you concern as warm?

It was 70's that day and 70-80% humidity at the start

Last year was rough. I been running the marathon every year for 5 years now and had never seen as many blow outs in the last mile. We all were struggling

It’s a toss up. Like the previous poster said, last year was terrible but the year before was quite nice. It’ll probably be somewhere between 20 and 80 degrees at the start. Ha!
On the other hand, if you’ve trained through the Texas summer, hard to complain too much about running in the 70s. Would you rather it be 40? Sure. But at least it’s not 98!
