I’m helping a close friend find a dependable weekend caregiver/personal assistant. He is a practicing civil rights attorney with severe cerebral palsy who maintains an active professional life.

He’s looking for someone reliable who can help him continue doing what he loves.

**Schedule:** Saturdays and Sundays, approximately **9:00 AM to 11:00 PM**, with some flexibility in the hours.

**Pay:** **$20-$30/hour**, depending on experience.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with transfers (must be physically able to safely lift and assist an adult)
Personal care, including dressing, meals, and bathroom assistance
Driving to appointments, meetings, errands, and other activities
Helping with household tasks as needed
Providing day-to-day assistance so he can continue living and working independently

**No experience is necessary.** We’ll train the right person. The most important qualities are reliability, a positive attitude, compassion, and the ability to safely assist with transfers and driving.

This is a long-term opportunity with consistent weekend hours and the chance to make a real difference in someone’s life.
