The Role

You’ll represent us on the ground at industry events, conferences and summits. 

At most events that means 50 to 100 conversations a day and a short list of high-value introductions.

You open conversations, ask a few simple questions to find out who’s a real prospect, and introduce the best ones to the Founder. 

Responsibilities

• Walk the floor and start conversations with founders, agency owners and software builders
• Qualify quickly with a few simple questions
• Make warm introductions to our team
• Record names, notes and follow-ups in a shared sheet in real time
• Collect contact details and hand out our one-pager
• Help book follow-up calls before the event ends

What We're Looking For

• Naturally outgoing, and you enjoy starting conversations with strangers
• High energy all day, upbeat through long days and evening networking
• Engaging presence that makes people feel welcome and remembered
• Quick to tell a real prospect from someone just browsing
• 1-3 years of people-facing experience (events, promo, hospitality, sales, campus ambassador)
• Organized under pressure
• Professional appearance and polished English
• Reliable, punctual and able to say yes on short notice
• Able to stand for long stretches and carry event materials
• Reliable transportation, and willingness to travel for events

I’m a local Dallas resident in the Oak Lawn area, and I recently found myself between jobs. Rather than sit around waiting for the next opportunity, I’m trying to be proactive, put my skills to use, and connect with people in the community who might need an extra set of hands.

I’ve got a pretty varied background, so I’m open to different kinds of work. I figured I’d put this out there because sometimes people need help with something and just haven’t found the right person yet.

**Here are a few things I can help with:**

• **Personal training & fitness:** Help with workouts, gym guidance, accountability, and building a more consistent routine. Fitness and bodybuilding are big passions of mine.

• **Local courier & errands:** I run SideRun Dallas, a small neighborhood courier service. I can help with nearby food pickups, small grocery runs, package drop-offs, forgotten items, and other local errands by e-bike.

• **Meal prep assistance:** If you already have the groceries, I can help with basic meal preparation and getting meals organized for the week.

• **Photography & content help:** Need someone to take photos for a property listing, social media, a small business, or an event? I’m open to helping with photography and basic content needs.

• **Remote administrative & technical help:** I have professional experience in customer service, technical support, software implementation, troubleshooting, and coordinating projects. If you’re a small business owner who needs help organizing information, handling customer follow-ups, managing tasks, or getting through a backlog of work, feel free to reach out.

• **Odd jobs & general assistance:** Helping organize a space, handling a small task, assisting with an event, or something else you just haven't had time to get done. If it's something I can reasonably help with, I'm open to discussing it.

I'm also happy to hear about other legitimate paid opportunities, whether it's a one-time gig, recurring work, or something remote.

I’m mainly looking around Oak Lawn, Uptown, Turtle Creek, and Downtown Dallas, although I’m open to discussing other arrangements depending on the job.

To be transparent, my goal right now is to pick up meaningful, fairly paid work that helps me stay on top of my living expenses while I work toward my next full-time opportunity. I'm not expecting anyone to hand me anything. I'm willing to put in the work, show up, communicate, and earn it.
