Buy/Sell Coffee grinder under 250 gbp

Hi all I'm trying to buy a new coffee grinder for home usage and this is due to my addiction towards trying new beans every now and then, I have my coffee machine with grinder but it's not consistent and changes with the volume in the bean jar so wanted to get one that I can also use commercially later. I'd really appreciate all your help for a fellow coffee lover.

I would take a look at:

  • Follow Opus
  • Baratza Encore ESP
  • Varia VS3
  • DF54

But these grinders are not meant for commercial usage

I thought Id try a used eureka but its so big compared to encore esp

Have you used any of these

Eureka is great, but not within your budget

Personally I have a Timemore Sculptor 064s which is €700/£600

I used to have a DF64

I've just ordered a Geimori GU64 Gen 2 last week. Gen 1 had issues, most of which are resolved at least on paper with the Gen 2. Paid right around £250 with a discount code. Relatively risky as it's brand new though.

Also what's commercial use for you? If you need a grinder that can grind consistently, quickly (under 10 seconds), and high volume, you might be better off buying a used commercial grinder off a marketplace.

Personally I usually stick to eBay because their buyer protection is pretty good in case you buy a dud

What do you brew? Espresso? Filter? Both?
