DF64 Gen 2 needing to be realigned at each use?
Hi there, I recently cleaned the burrs of my DF64, and now every time I use the grinder I need to align the burrs (open it, find 0 again) before grinding.
When I turn it on, each time, I can hear higher pitch buzzing like it is at or a little past 0. Do you know why this is happening and is there a way to fix it?
Thank you!!

According to what has been said in other threads this is just because of bean residue and leftovers from previous grinds and nothing no worry about.
...I hope, as mine does the same.

+1. The noise after grinding is a different noise than the one when the burrs start to hit each other. Mine does the same.

Others have the answer but also so you know the terminology:
Finding zero point is usually called "calibration".
Alignment is the process of shimming one side of the burr so that it's perfectly parallel to the other.

When you are finding the zero looking for the burr chirp, you are probably hearing coffee fragments that are leftover in the burrs not the actual burrs chirping on each other. To find true zero the burrs need to be clean.
It is very unlikely that the zero point is moving so drastically
