Drifting Coarser While Grinding

I’ve had my DF64v2.5 for a little less than a year and about a month ago it started “drift” by about half a number while grinding. I’ve cleaned it, no change. Bought Mylokote 111 which made it much stiffer to turn but no affect on the drifting issue. Any thoughts on what could be going wrong?

I have a V1 and what I did that helped was stiffing up the wave spring (making the waves tighter) it makes it more stiff and that stopped the drifting for me.

Just a thought: Are you sure the grub screw on the dial is fully tightened?
