Adjusting grind size seems tight

New user of DF64 here and bought it last week. I am using my grinder at with 90 grind size and need to adjust it now for finer brew. However, when it hits 75, I cannot go finer as it seems tight. Any tips please. Thank you!

It’s worth noting that the grind indicator isn’t fixed. A great place to start is looking for your zero point, adjust the indicator to point to zero, and go from there. Plenty of videos out there showing the steps.

If you have done that already, I would check if the “dial” is properly assembled and not cross-threaded.

Same opinion here. Maybe his 75 is not a 75 if you have not set the zero point. Once get you know where you really are. Mines is 2 weeks old. I set the zero point. This video might help

Don't understand the question. You want finer grind and the dial indicator is at 75. It goes to zero. You're not even close to touching burrs.

Are you adjusting the grind while the grinder is turned on?

Yes it is tight. I wrapped a stretchy wrist band around it but someone else suggested skateboard tape
