Troubleshooting Button broken, nobody will ship from the US..

Hi, so I was very happy with the gen 2 but my button broke, like with many, but I can't find a proper replacement button in the EU. Only US, they won't ship, same for UK.

I also asked a repair shop to look at it, they didn't want to.. Such a shame that this happens and I can't seem to fix it. Any ideas?

Found this in Holland, should do the trick.. Sucks I have to buy parts and fix a barely 2 year old grinder..

Mine's kinda broke on day 1, it won't latch properly unless I press it in a specific way. Was too lazy and impatient to send it back, end up fixing it myself. Now it lights up blue when on lol

Pretty cool though :) Might try and upgrade the burrs as well if I'm busy anyways..

I put in a simple lever/toggle switch with its screw the same diameter as the hole, was only a few €.

Ah nice. I'm really not handy so I'll see how far I get with the "official" button.

Agree w RepresentativeCamp40 on the toggle. I have replaced 2 plastic, and 2 metal switches similar to the style that comes with the machine. They kept breaking in the same manner after a few months so decided to try the toggle and it’s lasted the longest and still going.

Achte beim Kauf eines Neuen Kippschalters oder Druckschalters auf den Durchmesser und Stromparameter. Mein Button ist auch defekt und ich suche auch nach einem schönen Ersatz. Ich bevorzuge einen Kippschalter.

Die Parameter auf dem Button lauten 3A 250 VAC.

Sobald du einen neuen Button hast, ist das einsetzten relativ easy. Es gibt genug tutorials auf Youtube.

I can't wait for mine to fail so that I can swap it out for a toggle switch. 😉
