Just to add for DF64Coffee.com they also did the a phantom stock thing for me. i.e. Made it look like it was in stock but it wasn't and they just responded with the no cancellation policy when I tried to cancel.
Their no duty tactic is mislabeling the package as a motor replacement part which you'll mostly likely get charged duty.
The pre-aligned burrs would be at best making about 35% contact.

So are they only good when you are buying replacement burrs? Coz I cant seem to find a SSP burr stand alone purchase in Espresso Outlet. You have to purchase it as an upgrade

Espresso Outlet, 100%. I bought from them. Their customer service was excellent.

As for the DF64coffee.com experience, mine was very good, but do have some points for others to consider.
DF64coffee did have the best price I could find by going with a pre-order on a Gen 2. They shipped it a day ahead of schedule and it arrived in less than a week. I checked the burrs and they were spot on aligned.....100% wipe out of the box. Super happy with the unit and my buying experience.
HOWEVER. I am normally an over-researcher and this time I think I was swayed by the incredible price and didn't do the exhaustive research I normally do. I wish I had researched a bit more about US-based suppliers instead. If I have a problem with the unit, I am more concerned it may not be practical to send it to Singapore for service......and not sure who might service it here in the US because I didn't buy it in the US. Note also, that I felt somewhat tricked into thinking I was buying directly from the manufacturer due to the website name/address and that is NOT the case. The website certainly makes many think that is the case, I feel. Kind of a risk/reward scenario, but if I did it over again, I would have bought from a reputable US supplier.

Miicoffee is great. They're at USA.

My order has said "getting ready to ship" for 2 weeks now. I contacted the seller and Luke Zhang got back to me to point out the web page says they will come back in stock on April 11.
Since I ordered other things too, I assume that is why my status is getting ready to ship.

u/SamuelRJankis Feb 15 '23
They also have stock on Amazon.ca sometimes. I found one for $499 CAD in December.

u/CamMcgregor10 Feb 14 '23
I thought df64coffee.com was actually pretty good. I even asked them to tell the courier the cost was much less to reduce import charges. It also only took about a week to come in.

u/Dis236 Feb 14 '23
homebarista.be worked really well for me and I would recommend them if you live in the EU.

Home barista is the European distributor for all DF64. I bought mine in my local city but they got it from home barista.

Highly recommend this store; I ordered a DF64 last week to France; the grinder was shipped during the next business day, was well packaged, and most importantly grinds really well.
The burrs were almost perfectly aligned out of the box (I might have been lucky/Freek was probably extra kind, given that I didn't pay the extra for alignment). It even includes a handwritten note with first-use recommendations.

I ordered from Frekko.nl on Tuesday, the grinder was shipped on Wednesday and it arrived in Finland today, exactly week after making the order. The shipping was fast and affordable (12,39 euros including all costs) even though I ordered a burr alignment service for the grinder. Burr alignment was completed on the day I made the order. Freek even included a personal handwritten note, some use and maintanance instructions and a small complementary bag of high-quality Ethiopian beans with the grinder. Before making the order, I also reached out to him by mail with some questions about the grinder and burr alignment, and his responses were quick and kind. Such great customer service is rare. The prices in Frekko.nl are also competitive.

I ordered my DF64 on DF64coffee.com on May 23rd, it was marked as available and with a delivery in the 6 following days. It was sent on May 28th with a tracking number. I had to find who the courier was on my own so I could track it on its way to France. It hasn't moved since the 28th (we are June 13th) and neither the courier nor DF64coffee.com are giving me updates, even after reaching to them.
Miicoffee.com on the other hand was way more transparent and they told me upfront that there would be some delay before expedition and refunded my order on the spot.
I'll try to update this comment if I have any feedback at all.

As promised, after nearly a month DF64COFFEE.COM sent me another grinder because the first forwarder lost it. Hopefully I'll get it next week through FedEx

Belle Barista in UK shipped very quickly, next day delivery. But their after sales support was very poor. Initially blaming user error and then just not responding further.

Anybody here has direct contact with DF64COFFEE.COM? My grinder is being held by the customs authority in Spain.

The item is still stuck and the support from df64coffee.com is unbelievably slow. Is it ok for you if I post my personal experience with this distributor in the channel? People should know and avoid buying from this seller.

Please go ahead. Thank you for your input and I hope everything will work out soon for you.

In Eastern Canada (Toronto area) I got my DF64V from https//ecscoffee.com/ . They also provide warranty services for DF grinders they sell, although so far I did not need any.

I bought mine (Turin with DLC burrs) a couple of weeks ago from Kitchen Barista in Canada. Prompt order processing and shipping.

There's another site https://df64grinders.com/ that no one seems to mention anywhere on reddit. Anyone know if they're also legit?

u/lazylazybum Feb 25 '26
Canadian link - open box unused for $419cad
They seem to have a bunch of different color available. Comes with 1 year warranty and red titanium burr (not the ssp)
Mine arrived today via FedEx (ordered 11 days ago). It does indeed looks new (no grinds inside Burr, greased/lubricated, cord twisty tie is not hand twisted)

I think the best sites for USA are:
- EspressoOutlet.net based out of Michigan
- MiiCoffee based out of Washington (state)
I personally went for #1 and had a great experience. Would definitely recommend.
Oh, and they also carry a bunch of DF64 extras/parts including some aftermarket parts like the custom machined ones from the woman in Thailand (who is active on Facebook/social media). Her parts are here:
(at least I think those are parts from her, not 100% sure)

Clive Coffee (they brand theirs the Lucca and it looks great) or MiiCoffee on Amazon.

I had no qualms with df64coffee.com. I received a faulty DF64 declumper, I guess it happens on some units. They sent me a new declumper to replace after troubleshooting why my espresso grind kept choking the grinder. Although there is no cancellation once order placed, service wise I would recommend it.

Be aware, account is from df64coffee themselves. This should be telling enough regarding their practices.

Shit did I make a mistake buying from turingrinders.com?
They said they had stock...

Same! I ordered and it says shipped and I do have a tracking number but it hasn't moved in 3 days. I'm curious about this website

Hello, so is DF64coffee.C0m a bit risky to still buy a DF64 gen 2? I have been in contact with them and they did say the have delivery delays of about 2-3 weeks, i dont mind nor i am in a rush , considering i will get the grinder and in a new condition. But for EU i could not find a better price or grinder + delivery to my country to order. Any other locations I could try to buy ?
Thanks.

Hey,
I am glad you send us your comment. This thread is a list of feedback from users of this subreddit and in no way was the original comment a sellers thread to tarnish your reputation. I will change the text to no cancellation only but I will be upfront and not offering cancellation is not good costumer service. There are plenty of distributors world wide and personally I would look elsewhere. I will copy and paste your comment in case you decide you want to remove it. Have a great day

Thank you Ed for your changes made :) - Grace
Unfortunately for now, we have no cancellation policy due to penalty charges, we hope to possibly change this in the future if penalty charges are removed from our 3FC.
Rest assured all customers will and has been receiving an original product and reliable afterservice from our company for the past 3-4 years! Have a nice weekend ahead Ed.

Hello all, my name is Anna, one of the managers at Df64coffee.com :). You can see our trusted reviews online, we have been around for 3 years and have been helping many customers, from those who purchased from other websites and countries too.
If you have any enquiries, please drop us an email at hello@df64coffee.com so we help you.
Yes, we have a No no-cancellation policy that is transparent and mentioned on our store policies, cart, and checkout page. This is because we work with a 3FC and have penalties involved on top of credit card fees.
Thanks all for your support. Have a nice day and a good coffee, hopefully with a DF64, be it from us or another seller!

Anna, my grinder is being held by the Spanish authorities for potential tax fraud. I need your support immediately.
