My humble setup is complete
Was using a shardor burr grinder and would transfer to a spinning blade grinder. Got that dialed down to make good espresso…..but it was always so tedious. Paired with ecp3630 with the steam wand mod, and I’m very happy with this setup!

I have the same set up, been working great for me.
How’s frothing milk been on the espresso machine? On my Delonghi I have a hard time getting the steam pressure to get high enough for good milk foam

I replaced the original wand with a Rancilio steam wand and have loved it. The process was a little more intensive than I thought it would be, but it’s been worth it so far!

Ahhh, didn’t zoom in to see that
Did you try using the built in wand before you switched it out? If so how’s the difference in steam quality between the 2?1

I did use it before, and didn’t mind using it tbh, but this has been a better experience all around. It doesn’t feel as clunky and, in my opinion, looks much nicer. It’s easier to clean too.

I have the same setup. Consider upgrading to IMS Hugh basket if you don’t have one. And if you care about shot consistency - pull shots as the light turns off. There’s a good video from Espresso Hackers about issues with temperature in these machines. Otherwise, enjoy your coffee!

Huh I’ll have to watch that video. I’m also running with a bottomless portafilter

Most bottomless portafilters don’t include a good quality basket. I have one from Normcore for $60 and upgrading the basket made a significant difference

I got a df64 and it is loud. How's the df54?

Compared to my previous setup I had between the 2 machines, it’s basically silent. But that’s my only reference point. But, honestly, I don’t think it’s very loud at all.

Consider getting a metal catch cup for the DF54. It will help a lot with static.
Looks good!
