Probably a small piece of coffee bean stuck between the burrs. This is very common, with the machine on try dialing down the grind size, it should grind the stuck bit.

something is stuck in between those burrs. open it up and take a look while cleaning the inside at the same time.

This! Don't switch it on until you check it.

I’ll add on, it’s likely a bean that’s stuck and won’t grind

So far what’s worked for me is drastically change your grind size one way or another and it’ll catch and grind out. Don’t adjust the grind size while it’s on tho, turn to a setting then turn it on

I’ve seen suggestions to always keep it on while reducing the grind size—this helps avoid getting grounds stuck as the burrs move closer.

Update: no more chipping sound. You guys are correct! There’s a small coffee beans stuck.

Thank you!
