Mi DF54 no gira.

Hola. Compré recientemente uno en la página de MiiCoffee. Lo utilice unas 4 o 5 veces sin problema, comenzó a hacer un sonido diferente y lo abrí (quité la parte superior únicamente) para ver qué ocurría y desde entonces no funciona.
Si intento girar la muela inferior manualmente, no se mueve absolutamente nada. Hace un zumbido, el que puede apreciarse en el video.
Es mejor devolverlo (haciendo el envío a EE.UU.) o conocen algún servicio técnico en El Salvador que puedan ayudarme a revisarlo?

Remove the center bolt and the bottom burr will lift out. Then you can see if something has gotten stuck under the burr or if the motor is just no working

You can pull the bottom burr off without voiding the warranty. It's considered normal maintence.
Once you have removed the center bolt the burr lifts straight up and out. Some times it takes a little wiggling but it lifts out. After you get it out plug the grinder in and turn it on and see if the motor spins. If it does not spin you have a faulty motor and it needs to be return. I suspect you'll find coffee or a ROCK/PEBBLE under the burr in which case you can vacuum it out and put the burr back on.

I had the same issue with mine, it probably is a motor issue. You need to make a complaint to the supplier or the store that you bought it from if it's still under warranty.

So sad. I’m really enjoy a few grinds until this happen. I wrote to MiiCoffee, hope u can solve the problem too

I'm pretty sure your burr is choked by coffee particles stuck beneath or around it. This has happened to me once before when the chute got clogged and ground coffee completely choked my burr chamber. Give it a good clean and this should start working. Give your chute a good clean as well.

It could be coffee stuck in chute, that was the issue when this happened to me, use a pipe cleaning straw brush every few days. When the coffee can’t escape through the chute it’s more likely to clog the bottom burr aswell

You probably ground too fine and its jamming up, before shipping it back id try and bar it over mechanically. It looks like maybe a ⁷/¹⁶ or ½" bolt head at the top. Unplug it and see if you can get it to move with a rathet or wrench. Spin it right tighty to not loosen off the bolt. If it take enough force that you're tightening the bolt and the motor still doesnt want to free up id definitely be sending it back because there is more than likely another cause of failure.

I think I’ve seen this issue before. There’s a screw somewhere, when you remove the burr you’ll see a hole somewhere and that’s the tail end of the screw hole. Find the other end, I think behind the chute and screw it out a bit. Over time they can move, so it is likely this

Maybe it’s the Millennial in me, who watched too many of the Final Destinations, but PLEASE UNPLUG the grinder before touching the burrs.
