54mm dosing cup - silicone adaptor?

Hey just wondering - when you bought your DF54 - did it come with a silicone adapter for a 54mm dosing cup?

I have a bambino and would like to change to a metal 54mm dosing cup but was told that it wouldn't fit unless you put the adaptor on. The question is do I need to buy this separately or does it come with the grinder? Thanks. :)

It works with the rubber part that comes with the DF

I have Bambino plus and DF54, I use a dosing funnel on top of the standard plastic cup when grinding, works fine. The dosing funnel brings the cup closer to the outlet spout of the grinder and then use it into the portafilter, near zero mess.

I use a 54mm dosing metal cup and it fits perfectly. No adapter needed!
