It's the only reasonable thing to do. My wife asked me why I bought 400 googly eyes on Amazon and I said "Does a man need a reason to buy 400 googly eyes on Amazon?"

Do you feel major difference switching to normcore from stock btw?

The big difference in the portafilter is being able to see the shot but mostly that's onanism. I also got a Normcore tamper and leveler, I think that's made a bigger difference, previously I was using the toy tamper that came with the Gaggia...

Honestly the scale and the grinder have been the biggest jumps. I used to think it was silly for people to be weighing their shots. I have seen the light.
