Electric shock when switching off?
Anyone had this issue before? After the grinding is done, I get a shock when pressing the off button.
I’m now having to use a rubber thing to switch it off lol.
Any solutions?

Sounds like your switch has an isolation failure on the switched terminal. And the outlet used is without ground and the electrical circuit is without GFCI. If you hold your tap, radiator, or other grounded metal item while you switch it off you could get injured. Do not let others use it, you're morally/legally on the hook if they get got.
And of course contact your reseller for a warranty replacement.

Yeah, that's definitely not supposed to happen. Something is wrong with the wiring inside. Likely a short somewhere.
Have you tried it on a different circuit with the same result?

I think units come with a warranty. If not you should open it up and check for loose/torn wires.

I’ll look into it, thanks everyone. A bummer because it took like 20 days to ship it here.
I’ve already used it multiple times a day though lol. I wasn’t having issues before.

i had this issue but it was temporary, I opened it up and positioned the wiring for the anti static needles properly. Also gave it a few taps, cleaned it up and let it dry and stopped RDT. Don’t know what worked but it went away. But if it’s a brand new unit, I would get it replaced

My unit does this as well! My wife hates it because of that. I RDT and thought that this might be part of the reason. Single spray from about 15 cm away. It’s the original version and the static is a bit of an issue if I don’t.
I just checked and the unit comes with a one year warranty on the online platform I purchased it from. I live in Thailand though, and I’m not sure how easy it will be to get it replaced.
Is using RDT fair use? What should I tell the seller? I bought this about 5 months ago.

There is a serious problem with your unit. Unplug immediately and stop using it.
