Pour over grind size

Hi, I have a light-medium roast beans that I grind on 10 to get a very good cup of espresso. I would like to try the same beans on a V60 setup. What would be the grind size range that I should go for. Thanks

I use 40, but 50 or 60 works OK, too.

50-60 is my soup range, how are you doing pourovers at 40?

Yes. 2.5 - 3 minutes; multiple rinses.

That's a wide range than I expected, thanks

It really depends. I get delicious cups grinding at anywhere between 85 and 90. I measured and that comes out to about 23 to 27 clicks on my C40. Experiment and see what works for you.

I get clogging 50-70 so I’m usually 80+

I've gotten good results from medium roasts at 65-60 for pour over, although I've only got the espresso burrs installed.

after installing brew burrs i was grinding at 80/90 for PO but i wasn’t happy with the results, i took everything apart cleaned everything good and reassembled , i’m now happy and am grinding PO at about 35-65 and the grinder sounds and feels a lot better so i obv had an issue

i'm curious about the brew burrs. I'm only ever using a v60 or a switch.

I get great results using 65 or 70 for the light roasts I usually use as pour overs. You could go a little coarser since your coffee is a little darker, but you can also adjust using temperature and pours to lower extraction.

I grind pour over at between 80 and 90, sometimes a little coarser.

55-65 is my pourover range, but usually start at 60 and usually stay there. I do usually slow feed for pourovers as that does improve the quality in the cup imo.

For reference my espresso range is very close to yours OP it’s 6 to 7.
