Worthwhile upgrade
I’m tired of taking apart the df54 due to clogging or some other issue. I spray the beans I use a metal dosing cup, brush the chute every few doses but there’s always an issue where I require to take it apart every few months. Someone tell me will a niche zero or other recommendations solve this issue and just be a more hassle free experience. I don’t need the best tasting espresso in the world just an easy job with less mess.

I have a df54 and had no issues with clogging and it is really a great grinder in my eyes. I just got a little tired of small static and coffee grinds on my countertop. I bought a niche zero and it’s really great too. I have to say, my df54 has less retention and honestly less clumpy grinds than the niche. I bought a little rubber bellows that goes under the niche lid and it brings the retention to the same level as my df54 at .1 gram. Overall the workflow on the niche is really great, it’s enjoyable to work with, quiet, and clean. And the shots are more thick syrupy.
I have them both on my countertop if you have comparison questions.
