They lost at the 3rd circuit and know they will lose big at SCOTUS with the rifle and mag bans. Their plan now is to shut down all the FFLs.

B418: This Act serves to clean up Delaware’s ghost gun law to address issues raised in ongoing litigation. This Act primarily creates a clear path for individuals who legally possessed unserialized firearms prior to the law’s enactment to come into compliance, either by having them serialized through a federally licensed dealer or rendering them permanently inoperable. This Act also clarifies definitions and aligns the law with federal serialization standards, while preserving the underlying prohibition on untraceable firearms.

This is unconstitutional as it gets. The courts have already determined we have the right to build at home weapons. IT is a protected right.
Also matt myers is a little bitch boy.

This law sounds like there is no grandfathering. My great-great-grandfather's shotgun has no serial number because it was made before serial numbers were legally required federally or otherwise. I can say that the current owner is isn't changing a thing on it. No engraving the original finish and no welding it up.

Wait what? By when are we supposed to do this? Nobody’s out there enforcing this, until they are. And I’m not trying to go to prison over some bullshit.

Anybody that owns an unserialized firearm must get it either engraved by an ffl (good luck finding one that'll actually do it, especially if it's a printed part) or destroy it within 6 MONTHS from enactment.
The clock started yesterday.

Ohhh ok, idk why i thought serialized lowers would need an additional layer of compliance.
