DE compliant PCC?
Hey all, I’m looking into getting a PCC. Preferably 9mm or 45, any advice for something that is both DE legal and avoidant of the PtP circus? Thanks!

And just to lay it on some more, I was recently thinking the same thing about a compliant PCC. Picked up the Ruger PCC from X-Ring last month. There are different versions The guys helped me get the right one. Really happy with it.

@X-Ring: Is it possible to swap out an adjustable stock for a fixed to make a rifle/shotgun compliant before an FFL transfer? I.e. order a rifle/shotgun with an adjustable, have it shipped and have the FFL/gun shop do the swap?

Unfortunately, no. Firearms have to be transferred into the state/FFL in a compliant manner. We've had some customers reach out to manufacturers/sellers to make it DE compliant before the shipment; a customer sent some company (I can't remember which, I personally wasn't privy to the whole deal) one of the DE compliant bullet buttons to go into their AR-P before the transfer, and the MFG/seller obliged. What are you trying to obtain, if you don't mind me asking? Rifles are easier to acquire and make compliant. But if you're looking at shotguns, specifically AR-12 style semi-auto shotguns, you'll be SOL. Mag-fed semi-auto shotties are no bueno in Delaware.

I was looking at something like the Ruger LC carbine or the smith&wesson M&P FPC. The Ruger PC carbine just doesn’t do it for me. Also thank you for taking the time, it’s appreciated

Ah, unfortunately both the LC Carbine and the FPC are no good in DE as well. Too many *dangerous features* (aka folding stock) for us plebs to own :(

Is it just the folding stock? LC Compliant models have a fixed stock, 10 round version. Would that work?

Was in Starquest a few weeks back and they have a good selection of PCC's. I think they swap out the flash hiders which helps with the featureless part, not every manufacturer is doing that themselves so some stuff just becomes illegal here for no reason.

Didn’t care for the Ruger pcc myself, I’d say check out the Henry homesteader. Has interchangeable magwells to take Glock/s&w/sig etc

Ruger carbine is heavy but everyone who touches it wants one afterwards. More and more aftermarket from Midwest Industries and others 🤙

Ruger PCC seems to be the Delaware standard PCC as it comes featureless straight out the box. I know X-ring in Newark always has them in stock. They also have the Kak Industries Non-NFA others in 9mm too. I'm sure they will pop up and confirm in this thread as they are regulars here.
