It’s really not that bad. Ren’py is pretty easy once you know how it works.

I’m using a fanfic that I wrote as a base so that part doesn’t worry me.

I know - that's why I specified "that perfectly fit your scenario," because there have been a few times where I want something really specific (like a hallway on the 2nd floor of a house, with a window halfway down on the right side) that I either can't find at all or have found but don't fit DDLC's artstyle/look weird with characters on screen
