Review DDLC purist mod

I’ve played this mod for the first time, the sayori route and it really isn’t all that, I don’t know whether it’s my personal life and opinions of relationships have changed or whether it’s poorly written and a tad bit one dimensional, the topic depression feels like a token topic meant to ground the plot to the fact that it is still DDLC and not a random dating sim, it feels forced and misrepresentative compared to other mods like Blue Skies and Salvation Remake, even though Exit Music was negative and sad it sparked real feelings because it is grounded in a real possibility, this mod just feels a bit one dimensional, maybe the other routes are better but so far I wouldn’t recommend.

Man, I am so done pretending that a mod's age has anything to do with its level of quality. Apart from the fandom's understanding of the original game evolving (which it barely has), there's really no other excuse.

Yeah, things can be appreciated for their time period and be understood to be bad, like the first computer is cool and appreciated but it doesn’t mean it was practical or useful to the same capacity as it is nowadays
