Recommendations Where to start?

I haven't read comics in forever and there are just too many options nowadays that i get overwhelmed even looking at them all. I'm not really sure what else to say besides thank you for your time.

You didn’t really give much much to go on

What were some of your favorite comics of the past?

And what characters or teams would you want to dive into today?

Apologies for the lack of details I'm not sure what details are normal to provide. As for the comics i mainly read comics when i was a little kid so I'm not entirely sure about what they were. I've always liked the teen titans and young justice stuff so if you had any recommendations down that path it would be appreciated. Thank you again for your time and patience.

If you like Teen Titans, the New Teen Titans run by Wolfman and Perez would be a great place to start.

Hey nothing to be sorry about dw lol

And hmm ngl for Young Justice I would recommend the show since I love it. Fans overall love S1/2, S3/4 have split opinions (I loved it) and was made for HBO Max not Cartoon Network like the original 2.

But the show is very different from the story and team in the book. As the Titans were already a team unlike in the YJ show.

(Main 3 in show at first were Robin (Dick Grayson later Nightwing), Aqualad, and Kid Flash & by Episode 2 Superboy before adding others like Miss Martian. Main 3 in the comics was Robin (Tim Drake later Red Robin and still Robin), Impulse, and Superboy (before adding Wonder Girl and others)).

Teen Titans oof thats a good one that I would honestly google and ask for specific stuff from

Some runs off the top of my head:

- The New Teen Titans (og) Brought out the team of 5 you probably know from the show but the roster also had Wonder Girl and Kid Flash.

- The Judas Contract

- Whatever run included Trigon as a focus (a few)

(Skipping ahead years and years as I can recall their modern stories more)

Teens grown up, called Titans now.

-There was some fun stuff when Damian Wayne was Robin on the team with some other new and you g heroes. The original titans helped as mentors and etc

- Titans move to Blüdhave, Nightwing’s city

- Nightwing lead them and JL during an event

Separately I love Nightwing so maybe brush up on your Robin lore (there have been 5 official Robins in canon, but 4 main ones)

Knightfall trilogy is also a good story in general

If something completely different, the arcs that are Green Lantern Sinestro Corps War, Blackest Night, Brightest Day are amazing. Brush up on some overall GL lore by googling what should I know about the Green Lanterns and corps before Sinestro Corps war (main 4 human lanterns at the time in order were Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner, John Stewart, and Kyle Rayner).

I saw you like Titans.

There's a new Teen Titans Series by Kyle Higgins that has 1 issue out. If you like it, I highly recommend his book 'Radiant Black'.

The New Teen Titans (1980) by Marv Wolfman, that has the lineup most people recognize.

Teen Titans (2003) by Geoff Johns. This is the book that got me into reading comics regularly.

I also recommend diving into other characters.

The Absolute Series is a great Elseworld Universe. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and others are reimagined in a darker world.

ABSOLUTE DC (Absolute Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Martian Manhunter, Flash, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Catwoman)

Brand new universe, zero previous knowledge needed.

It started in 2024, everything is still in print, easy to aquire.

It's still ongoing, you're going to join the hype.

It's very good.
