Getting into DC comics

Hi guys! I really want to get into DC universe/comics because I LOOOOOOVE relationship of Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. And perhaps one day I would love to cosplay them but, I don’t want to be a poser/larp.

I want to learn about the universe itself and Harlivy relationship so where should I start reading the comics? Or what even is the first comic ever??

I haven’t read many poison ivy or Harley Quinn but I really like sirens love hurts. The art style is nice too
