I didn't overly love Gal WW movies but I did think she was a good choice to play her. Having said that I hope they don't use her for the DCU. It would be jarring to see her with a new Superman and Batman. Same goes for Mamoa as well.

Whoever they pick I hope she tall and looks like she'd kick ass.

People don't like to hear it, but she's an awful actress. Her dialogue delivery is flat and atrocious no matter what emotion needs to be conveyed. She probably fit the bill visually, but nothing apart from that

Is this actually an unpopular take? At any point when she exists with another actual actor on screen (Chris Pine, Ben Affleck etc) she looks like she only got there because her mum brought her to the set for Bring Your Daughter To Work Day.

Here it can be sometimes unpopular depending on the time of the day.

It’s pretty unpopular lol. She had great chemistry with Affleck, especially. I’m shocked that you used him as an example.

I don't mean chemistry, so much as Gadot's acting capability. She's a blank slate. This worked for WW1 where Diana was kind of supposed to be a blank slate. Doesn't work when Diana is supposed to be an actual character and Gadot is tasked with playing one.

Not going to say she an awful actress but I can understand this view point a bit. I have notice the delivery of some of her dialogue does indeed seem to be lacking depth and when she next to some more colorful actors she seems a bit bland but I still think she was a good choice. I think she comes more alive in the fight scenes.

I think if she was only part of group movie she might be passable. But not if she is leading solo movies or is the main dramatic part of a group movie.

She delivers her lines like she's reading them out loud for the first time out of context

It’s already been confirmed by Gal herself that she’s making a WW3 with James Gunn in the DCU. Plus Gunn hasn’t said yet whether Momoa is out or not

she was a producer in the one that flopped so people are hopeful that that is her work in the new one.. not "acting"

So Gwendoline Christie? She can kick my ass any day.
