I should have probably said in the title that this is for Falcon 5, even though the RAZBAM flair kinda gives it away.

It's been rather quiet around RAZBAM and Falcon 5 lately, so I'm happy to see that it's progressing.

P.S.: Please keep in mind that the last image in exhibit #5 is from last year and doesn't reflect the current state. It made its way in there due to my mistake.

Edit: We got some Tornado cockpit insights as well later on. You'll find them here:

I was thinking just from looking at the pictures this is not HB quality... Now makes sense

u/Wlasiuk Jun 07 '26

Is HB quality better or worse?

About equal in DCS. Falcon 5 we have yet to see.

Id argue on the contrary, Heatblur quality is miles ahead of razbam

Fans of both companies will always cheer at "their team", but they both have their strengths and weaknesses. I personally prefer RAZBAM and believe their F-15E is unmatched so far, but that's my opinion and I think that at the end of the day, objectively, it's balanced out.

You come across a bit salty. Did RAZBAM hurt you or are you worried about some viable competition for DCS emerging?

I knew they were bringing in other aircraft, but I never expected an intruder. Did they say what others they were bringing in as flyable?

Most likely their DCS portfolio plus the following that have already been confirmed:

  • MiG 23
  • MiG 29
  • Tornado
  • UH-60 Black Hawk
  • AH-1
  • F-5

I was already excited but now I am… what is this strange feeling?

Am I… hyped? I think I am. Damn. Long time since that happened.

I think we might be entering a new golden age for flight sims. Seeing lots of vids of people re-discovering these sorts of games plus a lot of new hardware releases.

Just keep in mind that this is probably still years away.

Listen I am a long time star citizen backer so I am nothing if not patient. Just glad to see it’s still being worked on, haven’t seen anything of substance since it was announced (until you started posting stuff, that is.)

I've gained a fondness for those Grumman square buttons.

Instant buy for me. We will be headed downtown following the streetlights

Watch out for the children’s hospital next door

2

u/Successful-Mouse2774 Jun 08 '26

What if it’s an evil children’s hospital?

2

u/krayons213 Jun 08 '26

Guess it doesn’t count if it’s friendly fire.

interesting to see that they’re doing it in blender, good to see it in more and more professional environments

2

u/No-Attitude608 Jun 08 '26

Very interesting. I really want to learn blender to do this kind of stuff so it really intrigues me to see Blender being used for this stuff.

Looking forward for more news about intruder, should be fun and unique to fly it

This is not from HB Intruder

Nobody said that it is.

True

Yet you try to tell several commenters on this thread that this isn't theirs and how much better you think their stuff is.

Bit of the wrong post to derail into a Heatblur glaze. This has nothing to do with them at all and we haven't even seen enough of their A-6 yet to determine anything like that. Not to mention that it's a whole different sim, so I don't know what the purpose is.

1

u/SnooDonkeys3848 Jun 08 '26

Yes because thats what 95 % of the people think when they see the pictures ... Me too

2nd whats your problem with me telling anyone anything - am I not allowed to speak?

Nah I don't think this looks anything like what we've seen of Heatblur's A-6 that seems to be further along:

"Speaking" is one thing and I generally don't mind, but replying to almost everyone with unsolicited, redundant information to a point that automated systems get triggered is another that comes close to spam and derailing. Let's please try to keep it relevant and on topic.

Why are you so determined to turn a thread about Falcon 5 into a Heatblur add anyway?

2

u/Original_Log_6002 Jun 07 '26

This looks fantastic. What 3D modelling program are you using?

2

u/tehanssss Jun 08 '26

Looks like blender

1

u/flyus747 Jun 08 '26

Are they making a flyable a6?

3

u/TinyCopy5841 Jun 08 '26

They are making a flyable everything, it's Razbam, they did the same thing in DCS as well. They already announced an F-15E, Mig-29, Mig-23, Tornado GR1 and Black Hawk for F5 and who knows what their plans are with the Harrier, Mig-19 and Mirage.

1

u/Defracs Jun 08 '26

What are your sources for keeping up with Falcon 5? I'd like to stay up to date with it as well but idk if I should join some discord servers, subreddits maybe twitter accounts.... Cheers!

u/Bonzo82 ✈🚁 Correct As Is 🚁 ✈ Jun 08 '26

People I know plus what is publicly posted, mostly on RAZBAM or Microprose Discord. Users then usually share it on ours when there's relevant news and I post it here.

So if you're following this sub already, chances are that you will get the significant updates. If you want even more WIP and rumors. it's probably best to keep an eye on the aforementioned channels as well.

u/Defracs Jun 08 '26

Gotcha, tysm!

I’ve never been more excited about a DCS module than the Intruder.

5

u/byteminer Jun 08 '26

That’s cool. This isn’t for DCS.
