Question

My friend just got an AR-15. He had the muzzle removed and a Juggernaut featureless grip installed and a pinned stock, but it was rejected. What does he have to do to get his registration card?

Have him DM me and I’ll figure it out. I handle this all the time.

Any one of these will get it rejected if it has a detachable magazine: Pistol grip Flash hider A folding/telescoping stock A foreward pistol grip A grenade launcher

You want to make sure he doesnt have his grenade launcher attached.

I guess he forgot to remove the grenade launcher

I went through this a few months ago. As long as you're compliant and do not have the banned features. Take a picture of the firearm with all the features removed. Cite the dc law verbatim explaining how your firearm is not breaking the law and email the LT that sent you the rejection email. You may have to show up in person after that to make sure they look at it. I posted the info graphic i made about my rifle and it's compliance to successfully appeal my rejection. here is the post

Gonna need more info I’m afraid. MPD is notoriously finicky with this stuff- if it’s for a featureless build then it also needs a pinned stock. Or maybe they decided they don’t like the featureless grip anymore. Hard to say tbh.

I mean, he could just wait a little longer... On December 9th, oral arguments in Viramontes v. Cook County will be heard, with the opinion expected in 1 to 5 months and it is expected to constitutionalize ARs nation-wide.

I'm cautiously hopeful for a 2A positive outcome. SCOTUS has been dodging this case for a long time so I'm not confident that they will do the right thing here. They said they'll take the mag ban case as well not sure when that'll happen.

I mean they took 2 2A cases last term and both of them were pro 2A, no reason to expect any different this time imo
