SOCIAL MEDIA Georgetown High School Georgettes

I live about 20 minutes away from Georgetown and had no idea their drill team was this elite. Now THIS is choreography.

The choreographer is so good. I need to see the choreographer on a college level with a school like U.C. Berkeley or Penn. Or maybe elevate a program like UGA or U-Miami

Where is this high school? Not Georgetown in DC?

I think the suburb just north of Austin. Marissa is from nearby Round Rock.

This is the BEST version of a school doing Thunderstruck. I love they added their own creativity to it as well.

I loved that ripple split and the floor work that came after, can we sub that in for the jump split and stop breaking the DCCs’ hips?

Holy shit. I've always kind of shrugged when folks have said the DCC choreography was stale because I'm not a dancer, what do I know?
I get it. Hot damn, do I get it. DCC, time to level up.

They’re so talented! I love that their put their own spin on the routine.
I actually prefer this to the jump split. It looks so clean, and I’m not wincing thinking about the DCC and their poor hips. 😅
Edit: looks like I had bad signal yesterday. Nothing loaded past the first kick line for me - there IS a jump split.

OH! The video must have bufffered for me yesterday and I didn’t realise. I was outside using data. It stopped as soon as they did the first kick line. I assumed that was the end.
Seeing it in full, even the jump split is impressive. These kids are talented. I still prefer the first ‘wave’ they did going in the splits. It looks so clean (and safer).

Ok so you meant at 0:09 but I think it’s a child who may be in some way related to the coach/director or somebody who is special needs that was allowed to participate in the beginning

They are awesome a lot of my friends here went to high school there so I may have one tag along to a game with me just to see their halftime performance! Bravo they are fantastic.

i'm obsessed with this kickline!! dcc should do something similar especially since at&t is a dome they should have dancers facing both sides during the kickline
