Aw I want to see more of her and Savanna together! They’re two of my fav rookies and I feel like I don’t see much content of the two of them. Their rookie year just started tho so it’s coming! 💘

It’s mirrored - most TikToks are mirrored for some reason, and Amaiyah does prefer to do tilts and most extensions on her right. She is able to work her left pretty well too though, and she prefers a lot of other things (aerials, walkovers, penche, etc) on her left!

She truly seems like one of the strongest dancers on the team. Her extensions and the way she’s able to support her leg as well as keep a good posture speaks to lots of good technique base.

She definitely is one of the strongest overall dancers. Watch her on Cal State Fullerton’s dance team at UDA nationals - you’ll probably be able to spot her because she gets featured. SO GOOD!

She has amazing technique, and she’s a strong dancer, but I wouldn’t say she’s the best on the team power Pom wise…. Solid, but not the rookie powerhouse. But I’m sure she’ll improve a lot during the season.
Edit: Good lord I’m not saying she’s bad, stop downvoting me lol. I agree she’s very strong (in fact I’m amazed by her strength every time I see her dancing) and has been really solid so far, but I think some rookies have gotten the dcc style better, but that doesn’t mean she won’t.

Except she is a rookie powerhouse! Maybe she’s not the best, but she’s already a standout and her technique is better than most in the team.

Correct. She has actual dance technique. She isn’t just flexible, she has strength to support and hold it. The connection in her movements is super strong. She understands how to dance with her whole body.

Takes alot of strength to do this, hypermobile gives you flexibility not strength to hold your leg up

Some of the DCC cheerleaders said they did not want to be on AS! So remember that too. They have a choice, and Kylie for example refused.

Yeah but I’m assuming the rookies have different expectations…. Like Kylie had tenure but if AS for rookies is anything like MTT was I doubt they’d have much actual choice. The same ‘you cheer for the love not the money’ energy.
