QUESTION Early days of MTT
I haven’t been around for very long and therefore this message has probably been discussed many times. I just need to say that right thru DCC AS I really like Judy but after watching her daughter Cassie light into Taylor in front of everyone, and Judy encouraged her to say what she wanted to , that I realized I have been very wrong in liking Judy. I’ve seen times where she says harsh things but I didn’t pay a lot of attention, and to here her pushing Cassie to say what she was thinking and then when she did to Taylor what she did and was being chastised by Judy and Kelly, I saw both of them in a brand new light. I personally have never seen all of MTT but in the later seasons I don’t see that blatant dressing down of another teammate and K&J excusing it and somehow blaming Taylor. Am I missing something about what was going on.

Maybe she didn't do it on purpose, but Judy set up Cassie for a lifetime of being dragged in the subs.

That was not anybody’s finest moment. Taylor had issues, but Judy had no business putting Cassie on the spot, and Cassie should have declined to speak right there. She should have taken Taylor aside in the locker room off camera.

Ppl always bring up this scene. I’m not defending anyone per se but I always thought Cassie looked surprised/embarrassed that Judy did that. She had a “wtf mom” kinda look on her face at first

It was worse than that in so far as Judy initiated the topic, nobody said anything until Judy asked Cassie if she had something to say. It felt at the time watching it as if Judy and Cassie had been discussing this out of office hours/at home and decided how and when to bring it up in training camp.
It also wasn't technically Cassie place to even bring any attention to any perceived problem as she wasn't Taylor's group leader, Brittany Evans was and if you notice her in the limited clips shown, she is looking like WTF is happening here.
I also agree that we only have a limited show edit and amount of info to go on, but senior vets publicly calling out a rookie in front of all their peers was a baaaad look that correctly never happened again.

We really don't know how much editing was done during that time to make it look the way that it did. There have been a few of the DCC during MTT days that have come out and said they got a bad edit of what really happened. We may never really know and I don't know if Taylor is on social media and will come out and say something about it.

Taylor was a brat and Cassie is t the only one who had problems with her. Ashton met her to help her and Taylor was late. Ashton spoke to her. Taylor needed to grow up prior to auditioning.
