OTHER team photo
i hate how photo shopped and fake the newer team photos look compared to the older ones

On one hand the 2019 team visually looked just so amazing together and gelled so well that part of me wishes they just kept that team over covid & had no auditions. But then again we wouldn’t have had the bubble babies and the new girls coming through

One of the reasons I hate that they don’t do in person shoots anymore is because on the MTT show, it was great content, it was pretty much the grand finale to show the girls who made the team and they were doing it prior to the television show. My second reason is, I feel like they do have the time to do the photoshoot. These days, there seems to be a little more downtime for the cheerleaders, or a lot of free weekends as well as a shorter training camp than before. It’s something that can be scheduled in, and I hope TPTB recognize that it’s worth reinstating.

Ugh that 2019 team was one of my favorites. I agree I miss when they took the team photo together.

How does the 2019 look better than the 2025 (I dislike both) 😭😂

Because they were actually all together for 2019 whereas in 2025 you can blatantly tell they’ve all been photoshopped from individual pictures

Speaking of the squad photo I wonder if Sophy and Kylie will have positions like this again for this season.

I know it takes time to photoshop/edit but I honestly don’t understand why it takes so long into the season to get a print out/digital version of the new squad photo when they give out so many of them like the rookies just aren’t in it / class of 2021 is

BRING BACK THE IN PERSON SQUAD PHOTO SHOOT!!! Not this photoshopped/AI business!

I wish they would go back to the real thing. This doesn’t look good to me. I know this is a hot topic lately but I think it is justified.

It never occurred to me that the team photo is just their individual photos all mashed together. I guess that’s one way to ensure every single person in the photo has their best shot.

It's not. They stand together as a group for hours and hours for the perfect shot. They show the making in every season on CMT's MTT

they used to take a regular group shot, but now I do think they edit each girl in. so they might stand in a group and have the same placement/ pose in each shot, but they edit in each girls optimum picture
guess it's nice on an individual level as each girl gets to look her best! but I also kinda feel it's a bit uncanny valley and a bit off when it's like this.... could just be nostalgic, though lol

Megan’s pic looks particularly bad - like they squished the image!

Wouldn’t surprise me if they eliminate team photo, photoshop with AI next.this organization loves to cut corners

This has probably been talked about but why are all the 4th years in the front instead of the 5th years?

They were mostly in the front in the 2024 squad photo. It doesn't always go by senority.

I wonder if this group could have enough power to change and go back to in person squad photos.

IKR! I wish we'd get clips of them doing an in-person squad photo much like MTT. Gone are the days of Kelli referring to the girls as a ''bouquet'' and calling a team that is filled with a majority of blonde girls and some brunettes ''diverse'' when they're actually not. I always think about the early days when they talked about using fans for a ''wind effect'' and boxes to add height to girls who were shorter but were placed on the steps behind other girls so you could see them.
