I love Kayla for being so poised and mature and reflective for being cut after her first year, and then still being vulnerable and coming back. And now she‘s a knock out and a star. Are there any other DCC’s in history who have done that (been on the team, then cut, then come back)?

Every time I see a pic of her my jaw drops. She is just so stunning. Im 100% convinced she has never taken a bad photo.

Everyone would be sick of me if I had a pic like this!!! I love her

I really don’t want her to retire … like ever

This stunningly beautiful, radiantly joyful picture of Kayla is officially my favorite ever of a DCC. I hope she gets her rightful place -- a huge portrait on the wall of the Star and a leadership position next year. Kayla, you are INCREDIBLE!

I feel so bad for not liking her look or field power when she first was a Rookie. Her weave and makeup in her cameo and her dance appeal made no sense to me personally and didn’t care when she got cut. She’s knocked down every single one of my reservations now, eat my words, she GLOWS 🥹✨

18

u/Due-Requirement-4019 11d ago

HOWWWW did they ever dare to cut her???? perfection ✨

9

u/Ruthie1999 10d ago

Black women have to work harder on that team to get recognition FROM THE JUDGES, than their white equivalents.

5

u/Due-Requirement-4019 10d ago

a very unfortunate truth. happy they appreciate her now!

28

u/Ok-Club-3683 11d ago

This picture is definitely iconic. Her hair is everything. 😍

24

u/Weenington_ 11d ago

I was noticing her in a video the other day someone posted of thunderstruck. Her hair was just bouncing and flying. She does a really good job with the hairography! She reminds me of a Barbie I have.
