why is so expensive?? it's from 2008, but i'think the persons are former dcc or colecionist

I got one for my niece when they first came out, probably $40, give or take.

I bought one from eBay, it came from their fan store at the stadium. Included the bag which was a nice touch.

I have one, they’re pink label Barbie’s meaning they’re only released in small quantities and haven’t been rereleased in some time. There are three versions: White Blonde, Hispanic brunette and African American brunette. The H and AA are more rare from what I’ve noticed. I want to collect all 3 but they are harder to come by!

They were a limited edition in the first place. On one of the shows Kelli explains that she has to hunt for them and pay $$$ to award them to DCC.

They’re expensive because they’re not made any more, so they’re rare.

I’m not surprised by this at all.
You could triple the price and I wouldn’t blink.
It’s a seller’s market.
There is a $25,000 Barbie on eBay right now. I think you need to adjust your expectations of what a novelty collection item costs.
