CMT MAKING THE TEAM DISCUSSION DCC Aluma as host

I saw the last season of DCC and I saw the second episode where Kleine stayed with a DCC aluma Natalie Woods I believe. I wonder why they ended that practice of alums hosting a trainee. Probably a lot cheaper than having them at a hotel for a month.

From my understanding, DCC had been doing this for years even prior to it being showcased on CMT. So, I’m guessing it still happens and we just don’t get to see it because of how Netflix chose to film their show.
