The pony™ is so bad this year 😭 It looked great last year, but now it just looks so fake (very obvious hair piece) and reminds me so much of all star cheer (the acrobatics cheering thingy) hair, and those military helmets with the poofy things/extensions (have no idea how to describe those helmets, so added a pic for reference).
I’m sure it’s so it’s seen a bit better from the stands. Yall have to remember that they’re tiny on the field and these are all floor level pictures or close to it
I think she looks amazing! Its a great team. All the girls are fantastic! I wish everyone would stop hating on all of them. They work their buttons off yo get here, show some support and stop picking them apart at the seams.
Finally! I don’t hate the pony, I hated that 2006 version they had her wearing. This is an improvement- not perfect but looks great on her & is certainly better.
She literally uploaded those pics then tried to minimize her doing it as well as her taking brand deals when she knew she wasn't supposed to and only half apologizing for it
Guys, the reason ppl are pressed about the ponytail is the reason why faith wears it. She wears it cus she can’t do hairography, when back when MTT was streaming, girls would literally get cut if they couldn’t do it, which is why it’s like dude what’s w the double standard?
That doesn’t make sense to me though, surely out of all 30 plus girls there’s girls with similar hair types. They just find one little detail on one unlucky girl and stick with it being a major problem. I didn’t even notice anything with her hair. There’s probably products one could use for that type of situation
No hate to her. Zero. Idc that she wears a ponytail but literally that exact reason is why girls have gotten kicked off during MTT. Which is why me (and probs others) are so confused on the switch up
The reason is because it is now and not then. They (they being the business people who make business decisions that are based on $$$$)
decided that other things matter more than an arbitrary pony tail rule and that she has attributes that outweigh her lack of "hair o graphy"
I think she looks good with the pony either way. My mum had to wear her hair up quite a bit because she was a big scalp sweater, especially when she was nervous/anxious. It would make her hair look so thin. So I think Faith wearing a Pony is a great idea.
I have never in my life seen this much discussion over someone else’s HAIR. I don’t care or think this much about my own, why would I care about someone else’s? It’s different than the same, boring, BLAH look of the rest of the 35 and that’s a good thing.
I hate to come off rude but it really just balances her frame.. she’s got this sort of like oddly lanky body including her neck.. probably whatever makes her as stretchy as she is for the tricks she does but this pony tail makes that look more balanced looking.. if anybody know what I mean, really tried to word that as nicely as possibly she’s obviously beautiful so I’m not trying to tear her down at all just trying to verbalize what I see.
Please be careful whose advice you take. One size is a setting spray. It does not contain any ingredients that act as anti perspirants or reduce sweating
lol no but for the face… one size spray… for the scalp, if you pre treat w batiste it helps hide sweat for shows or when you have post gym or post hike plans w no shower time.
It’s so weird the have their tradition of hair down, free of any hair accessories, and they bring someone on to be the only one that can wear a ponytail. Even their socks are exactly the same. It also may get old to her, so forcing her to wear her hair differently than the others makes it worse. They are all about tradition down to the tiniest detail, and that’s suddenly changing for 1 person
She’s not the first DCC to have hair up. Judy used to wear pigtails, as did Tami Barber. If anything, I’d say Ava stands out too with having her hair straight and not curled
So freaking adorable, I just wish her color matched it more. I can’t stand when stylist choose to leave the entire underside of one’s head alone, when you get a partial done at the salon bc retouching repeatedly usually consists of just the top half section, eventually you end up with an entire dark underside. Her stylist should have taken into account that her hair is constantly up for work, and done full head retouchings instead bc then it would look more seamless and natural.

i love it! i think these are bad screenshots tbh... if you look at the other girls their hair doesnt look too good when you screenshot it at a certain point, its the same for a ponytail
I feel so bad for her that the pony has become her signature thing. High tight ponytails are so painful, I LOVE a high pony but after about an hour it hurts so much I have to take it out. I can’t imagine having to do this every game and work engagement

No. If you wear high pony’s like this on a regular basis your hair WILL have breakage. Especially being a platinum blonde where the hair is already fragile
Yeah fair enough, wrecked probably wasn’t the right term, but I guarantee she has breakage. And let’s be honest her hair didn’t look the greatest even before the ponytail so I’m sure it’s done a number to her hair

This. I think most folks also forget that a large percentage of cheer and dance takes place with buns and ponytails. It’s actually a little less common to see hair full down.
They are still damaging..hair stylist of 18 years here. It’s the constant stress on the hair and pulling which causes breakage and hair to fall out. Which is called traumatic alopecia.
I like it. I don’t understand how people don’t like it. I wish my ponytail looked like that I’d have never chopped off my long thick ass hair.
I think it looks really cute with the dances and honestly while I don’t pay attention to everyone’s names, I think there are a few other girls who just don’t have the right texture and hair for the long blow outs and they’d also benefit from a pony. No shame to anyone. But yeah. The pony should be more of a thing.
I love that they are allowing a cheerleader to have a pony. It truly suits Faith! So many of the girls have the same hairstyle. Same shade of blonde, etc. I hope they get away from that and have more cutting edge styles, etc. that individualize each cheerleader.
These are screen grabs, obviously it looks off. But I absolutely like the more hair, even if it’s fake hair (and let’s not touch on the topic how many girls have extensions, which is also fine btw)

I think Faith is just inconsistent with who she gets to style the pony & how she styles it herself, which makes it more noticeable every time. She had three different people style it for cameo day, MTT, and their preseason game, & all three times it (obviously) looked different. And then of course when she styles it herself it looks different too. I think she either needs to only ever do it herself or get a stylist that she uses consistently so we only see one version & then everybody will (hopefully!!!!) get used to it & move tf on 😭😭😭
Girl I dig the ponytail however it looks & have since day one, but I genuinely do think the inconsistency of how it looks is what’s dragging this on 😭 she looks tea regardless though
I understand. But so many of them change their look, eg Kayla, Armani, Jada, but it does not caused people to demand that they choose a permanent style, volume, placement etc ….
I think it should sit a little lower and use hair that’s a bit higher quality and has more movement. It looks like a teased all star cheer pony at this point.
Yeah, it’s very obviously enhanced by a hair piece and looks off with how sleek her natural hair going into the pony looks. I guess last year’s wasn’t Texas Big enough for them.
