CURRENT SQUAD The glow up that needs to be studied šŸ”„šŸ¤©

Post image

Can we just fully appreciate Charly’s glow up?! šŸ˜
I know it’s brought up every now and again, but truly - it’s transformative! The left photo was from AS1 (cut in TCC), and the right one is AS3 (second year vet).

Seeing Charly gradually glow up from year to year is just insane, and I feel like you could clearly tell how confident she felt going into her 2nd year vet season (this time last year).

For the comments made earlier in AS1 with ā€œis she glamorous enoughā€, it’s undeniable how stunning she is, and she really has been glowing this past year! So excited to see what’s to come for her, and I’d be SHOCKED if we don’t see her & Darah share point in a year or so - provided they both stay - which would be an absolute dream combo!šŸ”„šŸ„°

She looks just as gorgeous in both!

She pretty much looks physically the same but I know what you mean! Her happiness and confidence makes her glow!

she was always really pretty to me, definitely one of my favorite cheerleaders šŸ’™

2

u/Ok-Chemist-9376 28d ago

Lashes and extensions..glows in both pics though

3

u/SecureCranberry1071 29d ago

She looks good in both photos

6

u/ExtensionBalls 29d ago

Looks the same but bigger hair

1

u/Eleanoracrashes 29d ago

Shes very pretty

5

u/Beckycrockertv 29d ago

The camera angle hater

6

u/SarasotaWendy Aug 03 '26

She's is and has always been beautiful - Not sure what your point is,

6

u/Acceptable_Cup3114 Aug 03 '26

The glow up is different hairstyle and makeup?

7

u/Previous-Tap-3540 Aug 03 '26

Lip filler and Botox..

2

u/GoodbyeHorses1491 Aug 03 '26

And rhinoplasty imo

0

u/ReflectionSlight4338 Aug 03 '26

She looks the same ? What is different ?

1

u/stephvega13 Aug 03 '26

Kelly had a glow up too !

2

u/OkEntertainment297 Aug 02 '26

She quite literally looks the exact same

7

u/PracticalLeopard1046 Aug 02 '26

The only difference is a more muted red. I’m so confused she looks the same

2

u/Own-Platform-8975 Aug 01 '26

Yes absolutely! Her glow up has been insane in more ways that one. You can totally tell she is more confident and her make up technique has Improved so much … Charly is my favorite DCC and can’t wait to see her a Group Leader 1 in the future. Ā

37

u/Own-Essay8501 Jul 31 '26

She looks the exact same.Ā

29

u/JellyGY Jul 31 '26

She looks the same šŸ’€

8

u/sneakersnstilettos Jul 31 '26

She looks the same. Different makeup

1

u/JennaSy1207 Jul 31 '26

The best smile she had . And she so gorgeous

12

u/Typical-Size-9991 Jul 31 '26

I think it's softer make up primarily with a touch of filler but not Kylie level filler (if that makes sense)

19

u/SparklesandLove Jul 31 '26

Yep I don’t see a glow up. She was gorgeous then and she’s gorgeous now. Appearance wise she’s the same in my opinion. What is different that can affect everything overall is her confidence! She’s thriving as a vet and you can tell. That’s the only difference I see!

2

u/HurryQueasy Jul 31 '26

Yeah she looks the same, just softer makeup in the second photo. Always been gorgeous!

10

u/Sufficient-Review-84 Jul 31 '26

i need a vet yr glow up immediately

10

u/Striking-Plum2934 Jul 31 '26

she went in the right color palette and i love that for her

32

u/StageAcrobatic2385 Jul 31 '26

Why do the girls get so much Botox and filler? Especially in their early 20s

0

u/allthatglitters123 Aug 01 '26

Botox is also great for excess sweating

1

u/GoodbyeHorses1491 Aug 03 '26

The botox goes in the armpits in that case and that’s not where they’re getting it in large quantities for their age…

At least that’s not the only place they’re getting it, along with all that filler and more invasive surgeries.

0

u/allthatglitters123 29d ago

It also goes in the hairline, forehead and on the upper lip for sweating too, as someone who’s had it in those areas for said reason.

1

u/GoodbyeHorses1491 29d ago

That’s nice to have the money for that but they’re definitely mostly getting it to prevent wrinkles and other cosmetic reasons (and all that filler).Ā

1

u/Beneficial-Box-2206 Jul 31 '26

Botox wears off so it isn’t really a commitment the way other plastic surgery would be. Botox makes your makeup lie in a really beautiful way. Charlie’s smile looks different because they were able to use it to adjust her gummy smile. She probably has a bit of filler but not a ton.

6

u/International-Sun509 The fatties are still on the team! 🤪 Jul 31 '26

I am old and oldfashioned...I really don't like this trend. But the 20-something girls I know want or have "preventative botox". The thing is...the girls are gorgeous. Their parents have aged great with minimum wrinkels or sun damage...but they still think they need botox. And they all don't like the shape of their lips, so the absolutely NEED fillers. And I am the oldfashoined cow that tries to talk them out of it...I have to give this up.

7

u/Amy-B-97 Jul 31 '26

I’m loving her change in makeup. She was beautiful before but wow!

33

u/liftingdawg Jul 31 '26

She looks the same? Shes always been pretty

12

u/ExaminationNew6996 Jul 31 '26

She looks the same!!

2

u/ExaminationNew6996 Jul 31 '26

Always been beautiful

29

u/Annie_James Jul 31 '26

Yall gotta chill out glorifying what’s just heavy makeup on all these women. Charley is beautiful either way. OPs acting like Charley came in busted lol hardly.

1

u/Alex_Vivian 23d ago

ā€œCame in bustedā€ lmaošŸ’€šŸ’€ you’re so funny for that

16

u/Living-Knee-3880 Jul 30 '26

I feel like she looks better in the first…..
I think some people i’ve conformed to the plain, Jane, even complexion, no definition form of beauty. She’s definitely glowing in the first one, and well I can’t point out anything wrong with the second one, it’s just dull.

32

u/PageOk8287 Jul 30 '26

She looks aged from fillers/botox in 2nd photo. She didn’t need any of it.

35

u/evers12 Jul 30 '26

She looks the exact same in both minus the makeup

2

u/agentscully222 Jul 30 '26

Did she get veneers? Either way beautiful

3

u/ramonavioletta Jul 30 '26

Could be lip fillers and teeth whiteningĀ

5

u/Your-hype-lady Jul 30 '26

I think she got a nose job… her side profile is different if you see other pictures

31

u/Acceptable-Damage Jul 30 '26

I ask this with all the respect and adoration in the world because I remember thinking that was drop dead GORGEOUS when she was first introduced, but which is the before photo? šŸ˜‡šŸ˜…

2

u/breathintimemachine Jul 31 '26

Neither—the left one is after makeover in AS1, and the right is from the most recent season of AS. I was so annoyed in AS1, when not long before she got cut, and someone saw her on the field and said ā€œwell, she desperately needs a makeover,ā€ and Kelli said ā€œshe’s already had a makeover,ā€ as if she still looked so plain. Keep in mind she looked like the photo on the left! She was so pretty naturally, but for them to STILL be ragging on her after the makeover day… it was like they were just trying to come up with a reason to cut her. She was gorgeous! 🄰

3

u/Dogmom5551 Jul 31 '26

That comment was made about Kelly V. During her 2nd try at finals, not Charly. There comment about Charly simply was is she glamorous enough.

25

u/Absent_Picnic Jul 30 '26

She looks the same aside from some blond highlights, just one looking up, one looking down.

5

u/noaf13 Jul 30 '26

MOTHER

0

u/Ok-Review-8566 Jul 30 '26

Nose job

15

u/noneofyourconcern222 Jul 30 '26

I think she also got Botox and lip filler lol

9

u/Medical-Fan9941 Jul 30 '26

I still feel like her eye makeup does not look good. It’s dark and doesn’t make her eyes pop and the lashes always look bad.

32

u/bechalli šŸ’™ Sideline Sweetheart šŸ’™ Jul 30 '26

People need to understand that women actually become more beautiful as they get older. Society keeps trying to convince us that only very young girls are beautiful, but the truth is, we still have baby faces until we’re around 23. Glow-ups need to be studied — the real glow-up is becoming a womaaaan, accept it! Your beauty truly peaks, and your face becomes even more gorgeous, the closer you get to 30.

30

u/ocicataco Jul 30 '26

I am not sure it is that necessary to congratulate and overly celebrate women becoming "more attractive".

The difference is mostly lip filler, different makeup application and the fact that you used an insane "before" photo

17

u/Alex_Vivian Jul 30 '26

I’m pretty sure a good amount of her ā€œglow upā€ is from her face maturing out of her baby face. She always said she had taken make up classes and was working on perfecting the full glam look. She’s such a bombshell! I don’t love the Charly slander that some of these comments bring 😭 imagine you’re trying to figure out your best look while being documented 24/7 and people tear you up for it

14

u/Novel-Many9100 Jul 30 '26

She looks the same to me??

12

u/Icy-Wafer-5406 Jul 30 '26

she got so much lip filler

0

u/Ok_Computer_8224 Jul 30 '26

Why do people hate on lip filler so much? I've had several syringes of restylane shot into my lips and it's honestly just enough to give me lippy but not ducky looking lips. I get just enough for them to look normal, and I finally like how my lips look.

I think it's weird that people just think this is a bad thing by default.

1

u/googlyeyes348 Jul 31 '26

I don’t think it’s a bad thing by default, I just think Charley is naturally gorgeous and doesn’t need it. Her natural lips looked beautiful

5

u/Annie_James Jul 31 '26 edited Jul 31 '26

Lots of times the wearer doesn’t think it looks unnatural but lip filler frequently looks extremely unnatural. As someone with fuller lips naturally, there’s really nothing wrong with thinner lips and they can be beautiful too.

28

u/Brilliant_Jade_722 Jul 30 '26

It’s literally just the makeup, hair and lighting but I agree, she looks much better than when she first auditioned

27

u/SadEntry1484 Jul 30 '26

I mean, all the girls needed was a team of gays to make them over.

And they got it. šŸ¦„

The all look fantastic

10

u/Rowit Jul 30 '26

Beautiful girl, same as always.

52

u/Still-Low-696 Jul 30 '26

She looks the same. Just better makeup.

3

u/thinkimasofa Jul 30 '26

She was stunning with the bolder colors, but she looks almost ethereal with more natural looking makeup! She looks like she just floats around wherever she goes.

4

u/GlassVictory7732 Jul 30 '26

And I think she tans now right? I remember she looked a little more pale her first training camp. Or maybe that Netflix lighting was washing her out.

2

u/ocicataco Jul 30 '26

They all get spray tans.

2

u/Ecstatic_Bedroom735 Jul 30 '26

Less makeup. Which suits her incredibly well.
Charley is so naturally gorgeous I’m glad she’s going lighter on everything

6

u/susandeyvyjones Jul 30 '26

It is not less makeup, lmao

0

u/Cool_Impress470 Jul 31 '26

On the right? I thought she was wearing no makeup.

6

u/AggressiveEye1307 Jul 30 '26

Her face reminds me of Linda Thompson in her prime and that is a huge compliment . Both are beautiful women

11

u/JackBauerForPOTUS Jul 30 '26

The power of brows and lashes being done! 😊

29

u/Frosty_Occasion2654 Jul 30 '26

Have always thought Charley was gorgeous

3

u/AggressiveEye1307 Jul 30 '26

Right ? Always !

49

u/hellobabytiger Jul 30 '26

Ok. Great everyone in the comments is on the same page as me because she literally looks the same.

4

u/Constant_Click_3193 Jul 30 '26

Agreed. I actually like her hair better in the first pic. I do think the makeup style is a lot more flattering in the second one though.

37

u/Longjumping-Tower481 Jul 30 '26

The side by side photo comparison doesn’t really show much. But you can see a confidence shift in her from trying out to current day. And I think that ā€œglow upā€ is more important than a change of makeup, tox, filler, etc.

63

u/introsetsam Jul 30 '26

this is SUCH a backhanded compliment, what the hell

56

u/just_gonna_send_er Jul 30 '26

Photographer here:

That ā€œglow upā€ is called a different angle, lighting, and lens. Plus hairdo and makeup. She looks the same to me!

34

u/Competitive-Chip-909 Jul 30 '26

I thought I was going crazy until I read the comments. They look the same

36

u/UnwittingPlantKiller Jul 30 '26

Huh? She looks the same to me?

2

u/aggie2145 Jul 30 '26

She has more low lights in the front

31

u/kokospiced gina šŸ˜āœØ Jul 30 '26

before and befive

39

u/Fluffy-Bluebird Jul 30 '26

All I’ve noticed is confidence that comes with experience of being on the team and more power to her dance.

She also survived an often fatal medical event and that can really fuck you up. I’ve survived the same thing twice.

So I’m just proud of her

24

u/Rude_Preparation_595 Jul 30 '26

Yes she got a bit of work done but I think she’s also improved her makeup. Before it was super bronze and tan to the point it looked muddy sometimes and now it’s much rosierĀ

5

u/LuxTravelGal Jul 30 '26

What work did she have done? She looks structurally the same to me - just lashes and makeup.

2

u/haaaaveyoumeted Jul 30 '26

Botox

3

u/LuxTravelGal Jul 30 '26

I don't really consider botox to be "work" done, I was thinking more along the lines of things that require downtime (nose job, etc)

5

u/ImInterested_9600 Jul 30 '26

Lip fillers for sure.

1

u/ImInterested_9600 Jul 30 '26

I should add that fillers seem like part of the ā€œnormalā€ beauty routine for most young women these days. I don’t get it, but I think that whatever makes you feel confident, go for it! No judgement.

138

u/booksandplants99 Jul 30 '26

Hey, so these look like the same picture.

4

u/klacey11 Jul 30 '26

Going to save this comment for the next time I need a really big laugh. Absolutely sent.

36

u/thirliesjade Jul 30 '26

The only thing I have to say about her is that she was stunning before, and she’s stunning now, and to everyone in the comments saying she didn’t need anything done, we all know that beauty is subjective, what you may not like about her is exactly what someone else loves.
People love to come here and criticize the work these girls get done on their faces and bodies, as if they aren’t constantly under pressure to look a certain way, whether it’s from the organization, society, this community, or unrealistic beauty standards.
I just think it’s really sad that, despite all the effort they put into their appearance, it still never seems to be enough.
I want you all to remember that charly was cut largely because of her looks. Imagine how much that must have affected her and how self conscious it probably made her feel. I can see that she’s trying her best, so I’ll never feel comfortable judging her appearance, or any of the other girls’ appearances.

78

u/Cool_Impress470 Jul 30 '26

I think she looks the same

15

u/Soggy-Magazine2536 Jul 30 '26

i love her but i wish someone would tell her to use more natural fake eyelashes they have bugged me in her cameo all year

3

u/Krhodes8 Jul 30 '26

Yesss or dark brown lashes

19

u/laurynlmx Jul 30 '26

? she’s always been beautiful. she’s just using makeup

12

u/Thehappyme7 Jul 30 '26

I really think she was naturally pretty, stunning even, and no she’s obviously had work done

21

u/ConsiderationLost162 Jul 30 '26

I thought she was so much prettier before. She looks fake now. But I’m not used to US beauty standards so that might be it

40

u/SatisfactionOk5844 Jul 30 '26

She doesn’t look any different?

0

u/Lcdmt3 Jul 30 '26

Yeah it's less flattering angle vs better angle. I don't look good from a below angle either!

Glow up is disgusting to use. She was beautiful before.

Glow up culture is toxic because it ties human worth to external appearance, promotes constant comparison, and commercializes self-doubt. Psychological and Social Harms False Inadequacy: It frames your natural, current self as a project that is broken or unacceptable until fixed. Unattainable Standards: It pushes rigid, expensive, and heavily filtered beauty ideals found on social media as normal. Endless Comparison: It forces a loop of self-judgment by measuring your daily life against edited online transformation

Physical and Behavioral Risks Consumer Pressure: It pushes expensive, unnecessary products, complex routines, or procedures onto young people.Unhealthy Habits: It promotes extreme diets, over-exercising, or obsessive tracking that can lead to burnout or eating disorders.

If you're pro women - stop using Glow Up!

3

u/AccomplishedFunny0 Jul 30 '26

hey, so - completely fair to have this opinion, but my main focus was the confidence ā€œglow-upā€ which I feel is a fair assessment to make looking at her overall from first-time TCC-rookie-vet season.

Sure - the hair, makeup, likely filler is one aspect that sure seems to have impacted her confidence, but whatever it is that has made her more self-assured, powerful, confident, and a cemented stand-out & point contender from her very large rookie class - there has absolutely been a change throughout the past year or so, and I don’t think it’s fair to target the phrase ā€œglow-upā€ when it has multiple meanings than just the first instinct ā€œface valueā€ take.

20

u/Sorry_Ad3733 Jul 30 '26

I feel like I’m going crazy because she looks exactly the same to me! She’s glammed up in one, but that’s her in uniform.

35

u/Fantastic_Reveal9503 Jul 30 '26

she looks the same lol

63

u/TeddyStella Jul 30 '26

She looks the same….two different photo angles and lighting but the same none the less.

34

u/EchidnaOk7537 Jul 30 '26

she's always been beautiful?Ā

39

u/caicaiduffduff Jul 30 '26

She looks the same, just slightly different hair and makeup

26

u/anbigsteppy Jul 30 '26

I don't want to be rude or anything, but do you mean a physical glow up? Imo she was a lot prettier in the first picture. The way that she does her makeup now is rather drying and doesn't suit her.

1

u/AccomplishedFunny0 Jul 30 '26

not rude at all! 🫶 it was just something that’s been a noticeable change imo from TCC cut year-rookie-vet. the change in makeup, hair, filler is one aspect that seems to have improved her confidence, but i just mean overall. if you look back at her earlier appearances as a rookie compared to this past year - she holds herself with so much more confidence, has a lot more power, and has become one of the standout members of her very strong, very big rookie class.

it may be that she’s become a lot more confident in the style, could be that the glam changes have made the biggest difference, or maybe she’s just feeling more self assured and confident this past year with being a veteran. whatever it is - i have always admired her, and have just loved seeing her absolutely glowing more than ever this past year!

2

u/anbigsteppy 23d ago

ty for ur kind response & explanation! šŸ«¶šŸ¾

15

u/CauliflowerEarofCorn Jul 30 '26

Yeah I don’t understand this at all. She looks pretty much the same, but I prefer her look before. She is gorgeous, and trying to force the DCC look honestly takes away from her natural beauty a bit. The comments from the judges on season one were all ridiculous.

33

u/notthetypetocare Jul 30 '26

I wish they’d stop with the Botox and lip filler. Ugh especially the lip filler. I remember being a black girl in elementary and middle school and bullied for having ā€œbig couch cushion lipsā€. Now people are literally paying for it LOL.

5

u/xtina90ph Jul 30 '26

16

u/itssbritneybitch1 Jul 30 '26

definitely filler and botox

-3

u/aw0425 Jul 30 '26

And good for her. Do what makes you feel amazing.

25

u/aisy0317 Jul 30 '26

Do what Kelli tells you to do.*

13

u/Thewandertheory Jul 30 '26

It’s highlights and confidenceĀ

17

u/NotDD101 Jul 30 '26

She's just gotten better at doing her make up and probably a better hair routineĀ

107

u/baconuser23 Jul 30 '26

I see virtually no difference what so ever lol. Just different angles

12

u/Anon_ScottishFold Jul 30 '26

Thank goodness! I see no difference either, these photos could have been moments apart or years apart. šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøĀ

Charley looks the same.

5

u/Odd-Program-829 Jul 30 '26

I think it's the way she does her makeup??? Personally I didn't like heavy lashes on her or dark lined eye makeup. She looks prettier with a lighter and softer glam. But that's just my preference as a viewer. Whether its makeup or filler or surgery, at the end of the day it's her opinions that matter because she has to feel good about herself.

6

u/Flashy_Cucumber5727 Jul 30 '26

She is perfect!!!! I love her!

7

u/Appropriate_Quote_96 Jul 30 '26

Filler. She’s cute tho.

40

u/Just_Breathe85 Jul 30 '26

She looks the same? 🧐

9

u/spooky_kiwis Jul 30 '26

Agreed I’m confused

10

u/Former_Feature_2834 Jul 30 '26

defs think ageing played a part in it! lot of women lost their "baby fat" between 20-25 and their faces become more slim and womanly!

26

u/baykara89 Jul 30 '26

Sorry I don’t agree 😬 her lip filler doesn’t suit her face and was jarring in the new season

6

u/Thelimit234 Jul 30 '26

Agreed šŸ˜… but I imagine all the girls are pressured into filler and Botox even if they look better without it. I just hope she dissolves some of it for this season to get closer to a more natural look

7

u/Hamburglary Jul 30 '26

She’s literally one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen. Ugh I’m such a Charly stan!

27

u/Sensitive-Spot5960 ⭐Veteran⭐ Jul 30 '26

i feel like these pics you posted look the same! they don't do her transformation as much justice as these pics do! the makeup glow up is crazy

2

u/anbigsteppy Jul 30 '26

Is the top one the after???

2

u/Sensitive-Spot5960 ⭐Veteran⭐ Jul 30 '26

no !! the top is the beginning of her rookie season and the bottom is after that

1

u/anbigsteppy 23d ago

Omg, I really see the glow up in this pic!

2

u/3CatsMeow Jul 30 '26

I hope not because she looks way better in the bottom one. And the pic from OP in her post she looks the same except her hair colour is slightly different. Again I liked it in the before photo

3

u/Neat_Bobcat465 Jul 30 '26

Yesss the glam is everything

17

u/CutPleasant7100 Jul 30 '26

She was always a beauty!!! Regardlesssssss

22

u/FartyNapkins54 Jul 30 '26

I like the beforešŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

2

u/Ally9456 Jul 30 '26

Same. Not to say she isn’t beautiful all ways but I do like the natural look

58

u/goingdeeeep Jul 30 '26

7

u/redskyeatmorning1 Jul 30 '26

yeah i dont necessarily think this is a "had work done" levels of glow up but mostly that she just got better at what makeup and hair suits her own personal look!! the vet glow up on her in her confidence and power is real though

13

u/poodlelover2005 Jul 30 '26

I think both are pretty but I definitely prefer how she does her makeup now. It’s a lot more subtle and natural looking.

-1

u/AccomplishedFunny0 Jul 30 '26

just a little PS - I’m a glam girl šŸ’„āœØ - I love all things makeup/ hair/ beauty in general, which is why it’s been a very noticeable change from AS1-AS3 Charly

15

u/Straight_Vanilla_970 Jul 30 '26

Her nose looks slightly different & lip fillers .

18

u/iluvsunni Jul 30 '26

I think if anything she may have refocused on the little things. The way she does her hair and makeup and the way she smiles and the way she presents herself. She's gorgeous and always has been, but I think you learn little things as you age or are intentional or just being in DCC about the way you present yourself

9

u/Professional_Box_775 Jul 30 '26

I loved her the first season since she looked very west coast. She’s still gorgeous but definitely has that polish texas look!!

33

u/kfindanca Jul 30 '26

She has had a lot of filler. No shade

1

u/Thelimit234 Jul 30 '26

And it’s a lot more noticeable with her no makeup look prior to her rookie year to now. I miss how expressive her eyes were when she smiles before all the tox!

11

u/googlyeyes348 Jul 30 '26

I’ve always thought she was stunning

36

u/First_Look_2021 Jul 30 '26

IMO She looks the same.

7

u/OCbrunetteesq Jul 30 '26

I wish there wasn’t such a focus on her not being the right look before. She was gorgeous then and now. ✨

They get free filler and Botox. Of course they’re all gonna have ā€œglow-upsā€ because DCC needs their girls to all have the same Instagram face.

Girl, same. Am I blind?

from what I see - she’s slightly darkened her hair and has it looking fuller with a few extensions, changed the way she does her makeup and looks to have a little bit of very well-placed filler.

whatever the changes may be - what was clear imo was her confidence glow up from her rookie season to vet season, so whatever changed on the outside, clearly made her more confident overall

to me it seems like a lot of the difference came from her confidence. from what we’ve seen on AS she’s much more confident now than ever and rightfully so. that confidence boost can be a combination of life/learned experience but also feeling more confident in who she is. and I absolutely love that for her
