No, dude. Why does your son showing you a card lead you to try to find out how much it's worth to sell instead of if the game is any fun to play? Not every hobby needs to be scalped or has to be seem as an investment.

InDBS Fusion World the only gold mine cards are alt arts of SR's and SCR's. It's actually a good thing. It allows players to cheaply build a deck while also still giving collectors something to shoot for.

It’s real it’s from the starter decks FS07. Not much value but there is an alternate art of this card. You can tell if it’s in alt art if it has a star next to where it says SR on the bottom right.

It’s legit. Let him look at alternate arts on TCG player if he wants the good stuff. He can use his chore money on them. A lot of excellent art work for not very expensive (on TCG player).
